I ordered lunch from here through some reputed food delivery app. Maybe it was my fault to order from this place when the lunch time was almost over. They took at least 40-45 minutes to deliver. However, first of all my mango lassi was charged, but not delivered!!! Omg! The food delivery app did their part by reimbursing the charge for the mango lassi. But I was not able to get the lassi when I was absolutely craving for that! Next, the naan was not at all freshly made. It was cold and almost crispy šŸ™„šŸ™„šŸ™„šŸ˜ . So as the Amritsari tikka. The chicken was not hot and was too dry. They were not juicy. Clearly the food was not prepared fresh. It was not the worth the money I paid. So disappointed!

Update: I again ordered some naan, and murg malai kabab, gajar halwa, and rice pudding through Uber eats for a weekend lunch. This time the nan was decent. The gajar halwa and the kheer ( rice pudding ) was okay, definitely not very good. But, the Malai kabab was terrible. The fry chicken breast pieces were okay, however the Malai/ cream/ yogurt sauce whatever they tossed the chicken with, was STALE! As soon as I opened the pack, I got that rotten smell. I tried to eat, however it went bad. I had to throw! I’m so disappointed with this place.

Another Update: even after the previous bad experiences I thought to give this place another try! I visited them in the lunch buffet today. The place looks cool, but the buffet šŸ™„. I have never seen such a tiny buffet in any Indian restaurant so far. There were only a few items- in appetizer sabudana vada, kachori chat, shrimp dynamite all were cold! The quality and variation all below the grade. In the condiment section there was raita, where the curd/ yogurt went bad! Even though we complained it to the server lady, nobody showed any initiative to replace. This time o wish to give them...

I am a level six local guide so I have been to many places and wrote many reviews and rarely write a negative review. I had to sleep on this one. I only give one stars to restaurants were I will never return. We came into the restaurant sat down and ordered water and beer. Then when the drinks arrived we ordered our food and garlic naan for an appetizer. We received our naan bread and drinks with no napkins, utensils, or plates. Then we waited two and a half hours. I have waited a long time for food in a sit down restaurant and I understand this is not fast food. During this two hours however our drinks were empty and our server NEVER returned to the table. Not to explain the wait, ask if we needed anything, or give us refills. Hell we would have drank a six pack of beer and enjoyed each others company if we would have even been glanced at.

When we finally get our food it is still served with no utensils and we politely asked for to-go boxes to take it home because at this point it is bedtime. I can excuse a wait time if there is food service and great food quality. We didn't get to try our food fresh because we don't care to eat with our hands so it was ok for leftovers. I will add the fact that we did not complain but they were aware of the wait time and offered us a discount which was appreciated but we will not return.

The staff should be train to attend to tables and refill drinks. Check up on guest with long wait time. Ask if they need anything while they wait. Maybe if look over and take note there is a person...

I am caucasian and grew up with a best friend who was Indian, her family was from Fiji. I loved Indian food. Her family would always make it and it was amazing. The aromas of the unique spices filed their house. It was always an amazing experience going there. I recall always going to ONE place in Rhode Island- Bombay Club, with my best friend for Indian Food. It was her and her family's favorite place to eat Indian food outside of their home. It was absolutely our favorite place to go as teens and young adults. It was "OUR spot", a comfort place, our go to. We always ordered Chicken Tikka Masala (hot) with Naan, lemon on the side and a huge pitcher of ice water. I last had this dish and experience 15 years ago. The restaurant had since closed, I moved away, and my friend and I grew up and apart. Speed up to current day...I'm 36 now and I haven't tried Indian Food again in years because nothing compared. Yesterday, I learned of Saffron and thought I would give it a shot- lunch, takeout. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, and 2 orders of Naan. My mom who thinks black pepper is spicy tried the Butter Chicken. EVERYTHING FROM SAFFRON WAS AMAZING!! As soon as I tried the Chicken Tikka Masala, it literally brought me back 15 years to a flavor, feeling, and time. My 8 year old daughter even loves it and she is a picky eater. THANK YOU SAFFRON! Your food is legit!!! We are so excited you are so close to us..see you...

I went for buffet on 12/26, the day after Christmas, about 1.5 hours before closing. The place had few tables occupied. There were few pretty common buffet items - potato spinach, dal makhni for vegetarians and chicken Tikka masala and fish curry for non vegetarians. None of these tasted special -- it's same run-of-the-mill cream based taste that you can get anywhere else. They were out of naan bread and onion fritters. When I asked for naan, they served us few naan at table and refilled the fritters. We literally 'scraped' last few pieces of 'Papdi Bhel' which they never refilled till we left at 2p. The dessert was tastier than expected - sooji halwa was made in North Indian style with milk. Overall , I felt that vegetarians should have some protein options apart from daal makhni. Most of indian restaurant use paneer, but I am okay if it's some other protein option as well. The food in buffet wasn't suitable for vegans as vegetables had cream in them. There is no accessible entrance (unless you count the unmarked dirty ramp in back ). I had problems in taking my child in car seat to restaurant. The server came and asked for feedback. I told her same things that I am writing here. She assured me that their a-la carte has many vegetarian options that I should try and not 'judge' them by buffet. The decor was good and they played okayish indian music. The price for 2 adult and 1 kid buffet was about $32 with taxes.

I really enjoyed the food here! But a strange thing did happen that I will mention on this review. I immediately ordered a mango Lassi. My favorite drink and one of the reasons I chose this place. The server (I didn't catch his name) first told me they didn't have any. They were out. Then he says maybe he has enough to get me one glass. I was thankful and appreciated him bringing me the drink. Later another customer came in and he got a full glass mango Lassi too. So then I was completely confused. Were they out or was he lying to me? Either way it kinda seemed odd. I enjoyed the Palak Paneer and chicken Tikka masala and Naan that I ordered. However, my husband, who is a chef, didn't really enjoy it as much. He said the Tikka was too tomatoey and the paneer was grainy like they didn't clean the spinach. Overall, the establishment was super nice inside and the food was good. Was it as good as the Indian places in Houston that we love? No way. But for NWA, it was decent. I'm just not sure about the server and how he acted when I ordered my drink. I'm still confused about that scenario. If they really didn't have much, then how did the other guy get a full glass lickety split? Very strange behavior, especially if you want people to come back.
