First Watch is the first choice!
Beautiful, picturesque day In March beckons breakfast 🍳 with a bestie.
At first glance you’ll notice the round window and a set of double doors. The restaurant is tucked away in the Village on the Creek, and is located off Village PKWY in Rogers, Arkansas.
Greeted by Jacob as soon as we walked into the restaurant, we enjoyed some dad jokes and giggles 🤭, then was quickly seated. I requested kids menus because “I order off the kids menu.”
There were high tops, tables, booths, and plenty of space to seat parties of all sizes. In a cozy booth for two, we sat and giggled at every silly thing. Then we were joined by the Angela, or “Angel A.” as I referred to her. She was okay with that, so after grabbing our drinks, she gave us another moment to peruse the kids menu.**
French Toast, bacon 🥓, and an egg 🍳 (substituted from the fruit included because I have an allergy to some ingredients). Coke Zero.
Food was DELICIOUS! Service was fantastic!! Staff was genuinely nice and kind!!!
I strongly recommend Rogers First Watch to anyone who wants a great meal and a cozy time.
I never got a chance to be a kid and celebrate childhood in my youth, so besides the perfect portion and price point, it makes me feel like I’m loving on and taking care of my inner child when I order off the kid’s menu.
**Kids meals typically come with perks (First Watch has a free drink 🥤 included with the...
Read moreFirst Watch will be a rude awakening for fans of The Egg and I. I couldn't find a single improvement. The menu has been slashed, and the service has tanked due to short staffing. The skillet section is completely gone. Why didn't you at least keep the Mexican Skillet? Where is the hazelnut coffee? The menu is now just all the trendy diets. Only whole grain options and avocados. Not all the pancakes come with meat and eggs now, but they're not any cheaper. The first time I came to the Egg and I was on my first wedding anniversary. We loved it and came back all the time: several times a month. We loved the whole experience: the impeccable service and the menu. I would call it the Chick-fil-A of brunch places. The old manager was always walking around checking on guests, but the new one stayed in the back. As for the menu, there was always something on it I was excited to try. This morning my whole family and I had trouble finding something that looked good. If you want to start a trendy new restaurant that's fine. But don't take a successful classic and change it. Ain't broke don't fix it. The demographics that the Egg and I caters to versus First Watch are not remotely the same. Maybe this would have been an all right restaurant on its own, but don't take my favorite restaurant of all time and throw it...
Read moreThe avocado toast was probably one of the best I've tasted in the area. Look at the amount of avocado that is on the toast! The avocado was lightly salt and went so well with the lemon squeeze on top, and it also came with 2 eggs on the side. I was so surprised at how much I enjoyed the Parma Hash. The sausage, veggies, and potatoes were well cooked and were not too oily. The jam with the toast and fruit cup pair so well together with the Parma Hash, and the price was only 12.99. I thought the potatoes were gonna be hashbrown, but the cube potatoes tasted good, too. I did get the toast GF for both dishes, but both toast were too over toasted. May be lesser time on the toast for GF bread? The orange juice tasted good, and I wished the waitress had asked if I needed a refill. The water had a bad aftertaste, and I suggest just getting something else to drink. The atmosphere is friendly and family environmental. The interior decor was a farmhouse theme, very cute. The food was served at a decent time, but I wished the waitress had attended us more. This was my first time experience here, and I would come back to try more of the breakfast. The quality of the food is...
