I'll start by saying that I have eaten and had drinks at the Five6 several times and it's always been a great experience. Not tonight. Arrived with my wife for a bite before heading to the Railyard on Friday around 6:30ish. Promptly greeted by our waitress, drink order taken. We got drinks soon and then ordered food. Got the food shortly after. Sounds perfect, right? Wrong. From that point on, about 6:45 or so, we never had anyone come back to our table. Drinks empty. Nothing. Water empty. Nothing. Food done. Nothing. Not even a glance or nod. Fast forward to about 10 til 8 and still no service. Yet, with the bar full, all the staff were busy making drinks, and refilling those drinks for the same people over and over. I literally watched group after group get served and leave. No one checked on us, the table next to us, no one in the table area at all. All that was getting done was giving drinks to people coming in off the street to get a "to go" drink because of the entertainment district setup. Lined up and getting their drinks, one after another, and yet we, customers who had been there for now more than an hour, ordered food and drinks, sat without even as much as look in our direction. In fact, our waitress NEVER came back. I couldn't even get to the bar to ask for anything and ended up having to CALL THE BAR ON THE PHONE to get anyone over to help us, which still took several minutes. Again, done with food, empty water glasses, no drinks, and had been that way for quite some time. When someone finally came by we asked for another drink and our check. No apologies for non-service, just telling us "we're busy". We didn't just walk in, we've been there for over an hour at this point, we're not included in the customers who'd like service? Then we get our new drinks and... NO TAB. I had to ask yet again, after about 20 minutes or so for the tab. Dropped tab without even a semblance of any kind of apology for our wait time. Just poor service all around. If you want to serve entertainment district drinks then designate someone to do that. Don't forego taking care of good paying customers who were willing to spend much more in total than most who just came and went while we sat without as much as a water refill. I'm not one to complain but this really put a damper on my willingness to return to this place that I thought was going to be a good regular spot. All I can say is either serve food and take care of those patrons or serve drinks like a walk up bar, you obviously aren't doing well at both.
Update: Owner reached out and apologized for the experience. Very impressed with that level of attention to detail. Will definitely visit this place again and hope that things...

Let me paint a picture for you: Imagine a place where the bartender not only knows your name but probably knows how you messed up your last batch of homebrew. Yep, it's that kind of place—homely, no-nonsense, and sporting some serious small-town charm. Oh, and did I mention affordable? Your wallet won't have to call in for backup.
Let's talk food, or as I like to call it, the "taste bud theater." Ever had chicken and dumpling soup that made you want to write love letters? You'll get it here. And if you're a sucker for cocktails, their mixology is essentially wizardry with a dash of vodka. Fresh fruits, crafty mixers, and spirits that make you feel exactly that—spirited.
Now, hold onto your stretchy pants because we're diving into the egg roll extravaganza. Made to order and so fresh they should slap you in the face—each one is a culinary journey.
The Philly: It's like someone took a trip to Philadelphia, stole all its secrets, and stuffed 'em into an egg roll. Ribeye, cheese, onions, and peppers? Don't mind if I do. Oh, and beer cheese dipping sauce—because why not?
Supersonic: For those days when you can't decide between BBQ and mac & cheese. Now you don't have to; you can eat your indecisiveness, and it tastes like smoky, cheesy heaven.
Loyal & Royal: Chicken with a spicy kick from Frank's Red Hot, balanced by the creamy hug of blue cheese. Ranch on the side because, let's face it, Ranch makes everything better.
And then there's the Elvis: Imagine The King himself reincarnated as an egg roll. Peanut butter, bananas foster, deep-fried into rock 'n roll decadence, and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. Top it off with chocolate sauce, and baby, you've got yourself a hunk-a hunk-a burning love.
So if you're not at the Five6 yet, what are you waiting for? An invitation?...
Read moreCame for drinks around 7 pm Sunday evening with 6 other friends. I ordered 2 italian margaritas with sugar rim. They were made correctly by Terin H.. The others ordered a well. Two of us went back to the bar to order second set of drinks. My friend received his and paid. She walked away without asking if I wanted anything and proceeded to go to the far end of the bar and get on her phone. I waited several minutes then walked to the other end of the bar where she was and ask her to make us two more italian margaritas, that I wanted to pay for 4 italian margaritas. I went back to the other end of the bar where we were sitting and she brought us the 2 italian margaritas and the tab. I realized the tab had 5 itailian margaritas. I pointed out the tab should only be 4 that the other person with us is paying for there drink. She grabbed up the ticket hastily and a nasty mad look on her face as she stomped off. After tasting my drink I realized she made the italian margaritas with salt rims instead of sugar rims. She seemed to be so annoyed, mad and in a bad mood I decided to leave a note on the tab that she served our second italian margaritas with salt after we had ordered with sugar rims. After she saw the poor tip that she earned and the note she yelled from across the bar that's what you get for a poor tip, all 6 or 7 that were in the bar heard it. She never made any effort to come try and correct the situation only to yell across the bar at us that's what you get for a poor tip. Where I come from you have to earn a good tip and take care of customers properly. We will not be back to the 56 thanks to Terin H....
