SALT SALT AND more SALT.
I eat salt daily… I love it! However… could not eat the fries because it was like eating salt with barely any potato… of course it was potato but the SALT!!!
The blackened mahi-mahi was so salty. I couldn’t have more than two bites of it. It supposedly comes with a mushroom cream sauce, which I could not taste any mushroom … and the chips and queso were very subpar.
We did order the tuna teeni appetizer, which, besides, the wontons was excellent.
It will be discontinued as of tomorrow. As are a lot of other dishes that my boyfriend and I are very interested in?!
Our server suggested the Ahi poke plate to compensate for the mahi… and that was good.
That said… I won’t eat here again.
The manager came over I believe his name was Alex but I’m not sure Alex or Rich? He seemed apologetic but I don’t know… I didn’t believe him ..
. I’ve been in the restaurant business for over 35 years and I don’t get why people come to your establishment?
I am a lover of all onion rings, but these onion rings were inedible! They’re covered in some flour dough that is not likable. The onion was cooked inside, but whatever’s on the outsid…It’s chilly and cold and like eating just plain flour. I could not eat those either. Chewy and strange. Believe me… it takes a lot for me not to like an onion ring!!!
The shrimp wrap that my boyfriend ordered we both thought was going to be chilled like a cold wrap with crispy things inside, but he said that was his fault. He didn’t read the menu correctly and our server did not repeat back to him what he was ordering, so he liked it, but it was not what he wanted at all.
Our server tried her best to accommodate us, but spoke about herself, and how great she was the entire time. I hear she’s moving on, and that District management has coerced her to do that because she’s so absolutely fantastic and it was a bit much. I left the entire experience, feeling completely creeped out.
I’ve waited tables for over 30 years, and I’ve never quite had that experience all wrapped into one, so I will never eat at your establishment again.
And the manager did comp our appetizer, but that was it. All in all it was an experience that I wish I never had… in soooo many ways.
I don’t need to know how great your servers are by the way and how much they make and how they upsell and just how important they are and it was some was way too much and extremely narcissistic. I wish this girl the best but she’s… all about herself! She did try to accommodate, I’ll give her that.
I could say a lot more… I...

We started with the Boom Boom Shrimp and Mozzarella Logs—both were out of this world! The shrimp had the perfect crispy coating with just the right amount of spice, and the mozzarella logs were gigantic, perfectly melty, and paired with a rich marinara sauce. Honestly, these appetizers alone were worth the visit.
For our main courses, I ordered the Bayou Pasta, and it was everything you’d want in a Cajun dish—rich, creamy, and packed with perfectly cooked shrimp and crawfish. My husband tried the Voodoo Shrimp & Grits, and he couldn’t stop raving about the smoky, savory sauce. The kids enjoyed the Cheeseburger Sliders and crispy fries, leaving their plates completely clean (a rare accomplishment!).
The cocktails were also a highlight! I had the Death Valley, a refreshing and fruity drink that packed a punch, and my husband loved the Top Shelf Margarita, which was balanced and not overly sweet.
Our server, Ashley, made the night truly special. She greeted us with a big smile, was incredibly attentive, and even brought out a special dessert—donut Bread Pudding—to celebrate our anniversary after overhearing us mention it. Her warmth and attentiveness made us feel like VIPs the entire evening.
A big thank you to Dakota, the manager, who stopped by our table to check on us during the meal. She was so kind and engaging, even offering some great menu suggestions and tips for pairing drinks. Dakota’s attention to detail and friendly demeanor elevated the whole experience and showed how much she cares about her guests.
Walk-On’s isn’t just a sports bar—it’s a destination for great food, fantastic service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Thank you, Ashley and Dakota, for making our night so memorable. We can’t wait to come back!...
Read moreI’m only giving this two stars due to the amazing server we had and the only manager (Dakota) that was professional and polite when we spoke with her about our issue. If it wasn’t for them it would be zero stars if possible. This evening my fiancé and I called ahead at about 6:15 and the host of course said there was about a 30 minute wait. So we arrived at 6:25 and placed my fiancé’s name on the list and was told again that it would be about a 30-35 minute wait because we had 5 names ahead of us. Totally fine, it’s a Friday night. I work in the food industry so I know how crazy it can be. Well, an hour goes by and still no call. So I called and checked with the hostess who said “There is still a 45 minute to an hour wait and 5 people a head of you” with it being an hour after we put our name in the list we were a little confused as to how there were still 5 people in front of us when the car next to us had arrived afterwards and had already gone inside and we had exceeded the wait time we were told. After TWO hours of waiting we finally went in. As we approached the front with at least 4 of the hostess and a manager (Lacy) we asked how much longer it would be for our party of 4 and the manager said “your next on our list” and when I asked why our wait was 2 hours she simply said “it’s a Friday”. Instead of giving a genuine answer to how we had just waited 2 hours, she rolled her eyes and got an attitude. When I mentioned that the hostesses may need more training on time quoting their customers in order to better serve their customers not only did the manager (Lacy) LAUGH but also rolled her eyes. Not only did the manager do this but so did all the hostesses around her. Two I grabbed names which was Hailey and Abbey the others hurried off when we asked for a proper manager of the restaurant. This was our last time at this restaurant and I won’t recommending it to anyone after...
