We came in on a Sunday afternoon around 1:30 For a birthday lunch for my 17 year old cousin my mom and I arrived early in order to get is a table we were greeted by man who appeared to be the manager We informed him that we would have 10 more people joining us to make 12 Total. He told us that they had several other large groups there and would be unable to sit is all at the same table OK fine no big deal they were busy I get it so while we waited for them to get our tables set up in the rest of our group to arrive he got our drink order. The girl who is supposed to be our server brought as our waters instead of setting I wanna on the table she shoved the won or straight in my face and said here take this I did not appreciate this I asked her to please send it on the table. Still be rattled by this when the rest of our party arrived I was filling them in on what had happened when she over heard this she proceeded to get in my face and yell and argue with me. NOT OKAY when you work in customer/food service. After this I went to the manager to inform him of her rudeness and request another server she saw this and again got in my face and yelled at me. The manager Intervened and told me he would get us a new server. When our new server arrived she was super sweet and took wonderful care of us. I was kinda put off that the original server was allowed to stay and finish her shift after the way she treated me but had she been nicer the close to $50 tip could have been hers so it's her loss.
Our food was great and I have no complaints in...
Read moreService was superior here which is why I am giving 2 stars. The food on the other hand was beyond disappointing. My husband and I went here the day after Christmas which could have been the reason. We started off with salsa which wad pretty acidic, but thought it is the type of style they make. We also ordered cheese dip (who doesn't order cheese dip at a Mexican restaurant). The cheese dip tasted more like cream than cheese. Usually there is a slight spice of some sort to cheese dip and there was nothing. All that we could taste is so much salt in both the dips.
I ordered fajitas and my husband ordered tacos. The fajitas were very underseasoned and something was off, but could not pin point. The beans had good flavor, but the consistency was more on the liquid side like water. The rice had nice texture, but tasted like plastic. I was so disappointed based on all the fantastic reviews.
I thought the taste was just mine, but my husband thought the same. His tacos were the pastor tacos and he stated the meat tasted old and his Pico was gummy. The only thing we can think of that could cause this is being left out, uncovered. He also asked for tomatillo sauce which was so salty and acidic (possible too much vinegar). We are a take home leftovers family, but we left over half the food there.
We did not complain, we paid and tipped. We are not a fan of the seasoning or style...
Read moreI have a new menu item suggestion. A footlong chimichanga with grilled shrimp, steak, chicken, and bell peppers, covered with cheese dip, and served with refried beans. I've noticed on some of the comments that you've been having pest control issues. The issues are coming from your so called professionals. You should terminate your contract with them and simply pick up concentrated vials of hot shot from home depot and then mix it into a pump sprayer. You can spray the entire restaurant while using protective gear and a respirator on a Sunday afternoon. You won't have a pest issue for seven years if you do that. Pest control companies are just as much of a nuisance as the pests themselves. If they get rid of the bugs, they go out of business. Spray ceilings, walls, and floors. Will probably cost you less than 100 bucks for a seven year treatment. Mix 1 vial per gallon of water. The river has nothing to do with it. Once dry, after about 12 hours, it's perfectly safe and won't wash off. I've used it for years and it's the only product...
