We were excited to try this Thai restaurant, since Thai food is a favorite of ours. My husband ordered the drunken noodles, which he orders every time we eat Thai food. I ordered the Basil stir fry. Neither of our dishes had basil. Both dishes were supposed to be on the spicy side, and neither of us felt the heat. Maybe they were out of basil, which is fine, but I would have ordered something else if I knew, because I was really in the mood for the flavor of basil. The food was good despite missing the key ingredient, but it was disappointing. As for the service, I felt as if we were inconveniencing the server, as she came off as rude the entire time we were there. Maybe it was because they were packed, and we came in 45 minutes before closing, but we were out of there before the actual closing time. We may give the restaurant another chance just because we love Thai food, and I'll be happy to change my review if things...

Is there an unwritten rule that states that Thai restaurants can't be authentic? Why are they afraid that Americans won't like "real" authentic Thai food? The beef salad tasted like Korean bulgogi; there was nothing authentic about it. If you have never had authentic Thai beef salad aka. waterfall beef (nam tok), then places like this are cheating you out of a wonderful culinary experience. Also, why do Thai restaurants like this put button mushrooms in the Coconut soup? Why can't they use oyster mushrooms, or straw mushrooms like it's supposed to be? My point is, I think that it's unfortunate that restaurants like this continue to make fake "authentic" Thai food. I regret that most people who like Thai, will never get to experience it the way it's supposed to...

I don't usually leave reviews for restaurants, but the experience me and my family had here was great! We got the basil stir fry, kee mao, yellow curry, shrimp spring rolls, and fried rice, and it was so so good! And the prices weren't unreasonable either! We're new to Rome and this is the best place we've found since moving from Atlanta. And our service was great too, Lydia was a total sweetheart and really made sure our experience was lovely despite some minor mistakes that quickly got fixed. It seems like we've found our new spot, A+...

Been wanting to try this place out for a while, finally got around to it this evening. Good food and friendly wait staff. Food was a little slow to come out. A little more pricey than I expected. Paid about $30 per person including tip for 1 appetizer, a soup and 2 entrees. Just doesn't like like a place you'd drop $60 plus for dinner for 2. But we enjoyed it and will return.

Ordered “very hot” pad woon sen. The only reason I ate 1/2 of it was as because we are at Floyd Hospital and it cost a fair amount to have delivered. Dry, bland, how else can I describe it… unbalanced. Think of it as a Chinese buffet’s attempt at Thai food. Sorry, there are much much better local options.

We had a great time at Yummy Thai. The Srimp Spring rolls were fresh, and the Pinapple Chicken and Pad Tai was awesome. It's just the right flavor and not too spicy! The Thai tea was so delicious. The server was helpful with menu ideas and so friendly.
