Sweet Pickles — Restaurant in Rome

Found this little place online, as we like to try new places regularly. The service was great, parking was ample and they have inside and outside seating available. It was decorated well and has an inviting feel for such a small place. The owner was great and very engaging, with each of the rest of the team the same. We also noticed they knew nearly everyone who came in my name, which didn't surprise us. We went for lunch. Everything was fresh and the soup obviously made there. We had tomato and potato soups. Both were exceptional, with the potato soup very rich and full of flavor. The tomato soup was every bit as good. The sandwichs were both very good as well. WOW! What a surprise find this was! Nestled in the historic retail section of Broad Street in Rome is this darling café with the most wonderful people and fabulous food! If you want to experience nostalgia at its finest you don't want to miss this place! Oh, and did I say they have fabulous food??? Can’t say enough about how adorable this place was and how delicious the meal was! Had an incredibly fresh gourmet sandwich with the best pickles I’ve ever had in my life. I now regret I only bought one small jar to bring home with me as I ate the whole jar in two days 🤦‍♀️😩 .
