They need to get rid of/talk to long gray haired male day time bar tender that was working Memorial day. Walked in with 3 friends to get drinks, (one of which who served in the military), i had an empty can in my hand, I asked where I could throw it away. Was told "we are not your trash can" I explained we were going to do business with them not just using them to throw the can away, as there are trash cans all along the street. Yet he still seemed extremely unwelcoming. Note there was only one other customer in the whole place that I could see also sitting at the bar. My friend then said, "come on guys, he clearly doesn't want the business" then the long haired man screamed "GET THE F* OUT" several, several times. As we were already walking out. He also refused to give his name. We then watched him from the window of Mellow Mushroom as we had our drinks, he stood outside of Giggity's bar, arms crossed, scowl on his face, as if he was looking for us. People and bartenders at Mellow Mushroom all witnessed this. In addition to the 3 of us that walked in Giggity's for cocktails, we also had several other people in our group with us that would have also been patronizing the bar, not only then (midday) but we also planned on coming back that night to celebrate a female friends birthday. Thanks to this man, our business went to River Dog and Mellow Mushroom instead. This man is costing what appears to be a fun place good business, however we'll never know how much fun it is, because me, my friends, and family will never step in the door again. Sad that the public in Rome has to put up with a bartender that is so...

First time Giggity goer and probably my last time. My families giggity experience was less than stellar to say the least. The "sports bar" atmosphere was all but non existant with 2 walls of televisions playing silent ESPN content while an assortment of music played over the speakers. Multiple MLB games were on going during the time of our meal as well as NBA playoff games, none where on the TV's. The service was unbelievably slow, we sat for 15 minutes before anyone came to get our drink orders, we were 1 of 2 tables in the restaurant. We put in an appetizer, which we discovered later was missing nearly every aspect of the actual appetizer other than the chips. Our cups remained empty following our initial drink orders for nearly 30 minutes, to the point we were tempted to get our own drink refills from behind the bar. The restaurant had one working server, while the owner played darts up stairs with a group of people rather than tend to his bar and restaurant. We ordered our food finally, the waitress never asked how my father wanted his burger cooked so we hoped for the best when it came out. The food tasted good, though it took forever for the food to get ordered and come to our table. We asked for a baseball game to be put on the TV and the waitress either forgot or didn't know how, but the game never showed up. We had high hopes for a sports bar in rome, but this one needs work. It's never good when you're on Broad Street and can't fill the place during dinner. Hope this place turns it around before...

Marjorie Taylor green was right Rome is a place of fights redneck brawles or otherwise going in this bar as an out-of-towner be aware the locals come in stand in the middle of bar looking around see who they going to pick a fight with first there's a black man that's got a great big ego also if you beat him on pool and the rest of the locals riff wrap skunks want to fight with you when you beat them in pool they don't like when the out Towners come in and beat them and the older man behind the bar that runs the bar he is a mouthy Hot Head what a nasty hot head he is, I had a local assault me in this bar ,and the owner takes sides with those guys,he had plenty of opportunities to run the trouble maker out,so if you're a professional high class or otherwise that wants a place to go to without being assaulted, my advice would be don't come to this bar because I was assaulted this was the day of March the 9th after the Trump rally Margaret Taylor green should have told all the locals to stay at home and let the outer Towner spend there money on the town but you know she's a little redneck girl she wasn't that smart and the older man running the bar ,as a bar tender he doesn't have a clue how to run a bar ,if he did he would ban the local riff rat shunk trouble makers that come into the bar,and those guys don't spend any money anyway, there trouble makers, they don't want their friend to make any...

Do not be thrown by its rustic looks when you come in the door. It appears to be old and a bit run down but I think it is a part of its charm. We were greeted promptly by a big genuine smile from Asa and quickly fell in love. Games and pool table show it is in a college town but the food would be applauded any where. Starter was cheese logs and logs they were. Huge! Shared chicken strips with beer battered onion rings that delighted our taste buds. Chicken crisp and tender and juicy! Then had to try fried oreos for desert! So very yummy!! Not busy for Thursday afternoon. Think it is Rome's best kept secret. A must try if you are in area. We drove from Douglasville and was worth the drive. We'll go back!

Honestly we were a little concerned walking in on a Wednesday at lunch time with no one in the place, but so glad we did anyway. Alexis was behind the bar and just did a fabulous job taking care of us. We went for the sampler platter with Fried Pickles, Potato Skins & Cheese Sticks - the cheese sticks are homemade and the bomb! We went with three different wing choices and they came out perfect. Alexis was just amazing from service to advising us on what to do & see in Rome - best wishes on your future and maybe one day we will be on one of your flights!

Ok so we ordered the IDK and here’s what it look like for 14$….. plus we had to leave at 10pm while everyone else is still here watching a baseball game . The wings were ok but we had no flats all legs . Total was 50$ … tell me what you think ?…. We played pool but that was the only highlight of the bar , seeing that the customers were watching the baseball game and we couldn’t listen to the juke box no matter how much we paid on it …jukebox was muted
