Happened to be passing through looking for a good place to grab dinner. We were trying to find a place that had a decent variety of food and didn’t break the bank, but that also wasn’t Denny’s or Sharis. I was looking at the pictures and the Ruben caught my eye. Looked super yummy. My wife wanted fish and chips and a grilled cheese. The waitress (who I assume was one of the owners) was the only one working and we were the only ones dining. She said that she can do everything but the Ruben sandwich. My wife and I laughed as that’s what I decided I was getting before we even showed up. And she proceeds to tell me that with only one person working and other people ordering food it can be hard to make the Ruben as it’s a process to make. I wasn’t worried about it and was going to order something else but she said it shouldn’t be a big deal and went ahead and made it for me. The grilled cheese was just an all around great classic grilled cheese sandwich. Super yummy buttery bread with cheddar cheese. Definitely hit the spot. The fish and chips were a little over done but were still super good. I want to be very clear with my review of the Ruben. I have never had a Ruben sandwich before. But I love corned beef and I don’t really mind sauerkraut so I thought this was a no brainer. This is where my review gets difficult. I am not going to say the Ruben was bad. I didn’t love it but I have nothing to compare it to. It wasn’t bad I can say that. The corned beef was a little tough no not as soft as slow cooked corned beef. But I will say that this family ran pub that’s been around for a long time is a great little spot for good beer and great food. I would definitely come back and support...
Read moreInviting, homey, laid back, and comfortable atmosphere. It's like you walked into your friend's house and its time to make fun and lasting memories. The service is always amazing and the FOOD! Best damn burgers in town! The patty is actually beef that is ground onsite- not frozen, not premade, and you can taste the quality. The rotating, seasonal cider taps are always delicious. The new owners are also very involved in the community and we all are ecstatic that they continue to carry on the Little Brother Pub tradition as Roseburg's Best Kept Secret.
Live Music, Board Games, Super Mario Kart nights- it's the place to be. Finally, entertainment that we all have been...
Read moreWe had this place recommended to us by a person we met while bar hopping in Portland. This place is an absolute gem that’s hidden away in downtown Roseburg. It’s a great place to grab lunch. We both ordered BLT’s and Bloody Marys. The BLT’s were huge and had copious amounts of bacon on them. Perfectly executed BLT, 10/10. The Bloody Mary’s were strong and spicy. No frills, no crazy stuff, just a simple good Bloody Mary. 10/10. I would recommend grabbing a bite here to anyone who was on the fence. The owners are super friendly and personable. Will definitely be back and will make this my go-to lunch joint....
