We went to the Rosenberg area for a walk @ seabourne creek park. With the sprinkling of rain, we left the walk early to head to the Agatha theatre but realized a small meal was needed. Originally looking at McD's, Jack didn't feel appetizing. We stumbled across Dippin Donuts and knew they'd have croissants and kolaches! About a half dozen people were in the lobby but I was still enthusiastically greeted. As we looked at the kaloches, the female assured us she had croissants in the back but since it was so busy, she hadn't had a chance to make them yet. Dad happily ordered his ham, egg, and cheese and the young man quickly offered to warm it up for him. (NICE size of ham!) Donut holes were $1.85 so I grabbed some while my jalapeno, sausage, cheese was warming in the microwave. Dippin donuts have about 4 booths but most customers were ordering their dozen or so mixed donuts and a couple breakfast sandwiches and heading home to feed the hungry mouths. Read moreI LOVE this place one because of the kind owner and service!!! Some other donut places aren't very customer friendly. The donuts are awesome but my favorite are the mini kolaches!!!! Mmmm... hmmmm!!! This is another one of my "Yum and Yum" places to eat! My hubbs likes the croissant breakfast sandwiches.
