Garden of Eat'n — Restaurant in Roseville

Awful experience ordering from DoorDash, and I think the restaurant is at fault.

I ordered a Baja Steak rice bowl for my son. On the DoorDash menu listing, it does not mention any sauces. The photo shows no sauces on the food but some in little tubs on the side. No description of what those sauces might be. My son does not eat dairy, but there was no mention of cheese or anything else that would cause an issue

The rice bowl that arrived was covered in sauce. I called the restaurant to find out what this sauce is, and they say it is “sriracha ranch and 4-cheese sauce.” Like the dish is literally soaking in sauce.

Restaurant took no responsibility for providing DoorDash with inaccurate menu description and photo. Person on yhe phobe seemed to think DoorDash somehow makes the menus themselves for the thousands of local restaurants they work with. DoorDash provided a refund. Was forced to improvise another meal for my son at 8pm

Honestly, don’t think I would go back even if this hadn’t happened. Food was meh. Is this what qualifies as healthy take out in Roseville? Honestly taking a bowl of white rice, steak, almost no veg and smothering it in ranch/cheese sauce and calling that “healthy” and “Baja” is the most hilarious bad food cliche I’ve...

I LOVE this place and l literally have recommended it to a lot of my co workers and they love it now too! Love the food! Two days ago around 7pm I went in there on my lunch break and there were 3 really young girls working I believe there was another one in the back. I ordered and stepped back and they were making faces and snickering. I had asked if there was a problem and one said No and then immediately looked at the other girls that were working and started smiling and then walking to the back room and laughing! I honestly couldn’t believe it and seriously was very upset by this and will not go back here unless I hear something was done about this and it was addressed. I understand they are very young but it is no excuse to bully a paying customer and making me feel super uncomfortable. Ridiculous. I ordered a salad with the dressing on it mixed in, needless to say I was very upset and bothered by this I didn’t have much of an appetite and kept it in the fridge and obviously it wasn’t very fresh later and I feel like it was wasted cause I was so upset from these girls working. It's a good thing this place has good food, otherwise, they would've gotten a zero start rating from me. We got to the restaurant at 7:10, 20 minutes before closing time. The employees were irritated as we walked in. The person at the register was curt and was rushing me with my order. Completely unpleasant. Horrible customer service. Other people came in after us and the employees were equally awful to them as well. It was like they didn't want us there because it was close to closing time and they just wanted to go home. I understand that, but they still should treat the customers respectfully. Another thing that I witnessed as I was waiting for my food was this male employee who was cleaning the trash (picking up trash with no gloves and stuffing the garbage can), while he was emptying the lemonade cooler into containers (to be served the next day). He was touching the trash and the lemonade - at the same time!!! This is for sure a health code violation! Terrible experience! Management needs to...
