Great big space with super high ceilings and lots of parking. You get to do your own condiments, which is a major plus in my book. Tgeyve created a unique winter holiday drink menu, which is lovely. I can't recall the name, but I had an orange mocha from their specials menu, which was delicious. I didn't have food, so can't comment on that. VERY knowledgeable barista. (Note: Im a certified barista in two countries; was a coffee knowledge "expert" for one company for several years in Boston, NYC & LA; and worked in a location where we roasted on site for several more years. The guy who served me was good - knew what he was talking about and made a great cup of coffee.) Their biggest challenge is in creating a "cozy" or "intimate" atmosphere. With the high ceilings and big open space, combined with a breadth of picture windows and hard, clean lines, it felt a little industrial - but bright. It was difficult to have an intimate conversation without others overhearing bits and pieces because of the way the tables were arranged. However, it's a great study spot, and away from the beaten path just enough to feel like a major find, while really only a block further west than you might otherwise call regular stomping grounds. Was super excited to try this place out today, but I ended up super disappointed. My friends and I decided to meet up here and went to the counter to order. I ordered a simple iced coffee with oat milk from the barista and she told me she would have it down at the end for me. Fast forward almost 10 minutes and I’m still standing there as other people’s names are called (she also never asked me for my name, so I was confused on that part.) There were multiple drinks on the counter, and I didn’t want to take one without knowing it was mine. Eventually there was only one left, but the guy making coffees took it to the back counter and started drinking it. After standing there for a few minutes he finally asked me if I was waiting for an order. It was then that the original girl taking my order finally decided to step in and say she thinks someone took it. I then finally got a rushed coffee given to me, so I’m assuming the barista took my original one. I never like to complain about the service industry as I’ve been there before, but this was super disappointing as the original lady saw me standing there waiting and didn’t help until the other barista asked me if I was waiting...
