Activate Roseville is easily one of my favorite places to go for a fun, fast-paced, and mentally stimulating experience! Since July 15th, my boyfriend Kurtis and I have already been FIVE times — so that should tell you it’s absolutely worth coming back to. Each 75-minute session flies by, especially with how interactive and engaging the games are. If you’re looking to make the most of your time and rack up leaderboard points, I definitely recommend going Monday–Thursday to avoid minor waits on busier weekends. That said, even weekend waits are short — nothing close to theme park lines, more like a quick breather between games. What I love most is the variety of game types — speed, agility, memory, logic — and they’re suitable for a wide range of ages (check their FAQ for exact age guidance). Everything is super clean too. The staff does a great job sanitizing the wristbands after each use, and lockers are provided to safely store your belongings — a huge plus for me since I prefer not to carry my phone or keys while playing. The staff is respectful and helpful across the board, but I especially want to shout out Devon! He’s one of the main reasons we keep coming back. Devon’s knowledge, enthusiasm, and great energy made our first visit memorable and convinced us to return — clearly, it worked. We’ve become weekly regulars! UPDATE: As of 8/11/25, the potholes are not an inconvenience anymore they have been taken care of promptly!!! I pulled into the lot like butter on hot toast — smooth and pothole-free, thank you!!!🤩🤩🤩 One minor inconvenience are the large potholes at the parking lot entrance, but since that area is shared with other businesses, I understand it’s more of a collective issue. It doesn’t take away from the fantastic experience Activate provides. All in all, if you’re looking for a fun and unique way to get active and test your mental and physical skills, Activate Roseville is the place. Can’t wait for our next session! UPDATE: 10/01/25 we made it to the top 30 at this location! How exciting!!

This place was awesome. 30 bucks for 75 minutes is a tough sell for me but this place over delivered with its cleanliness and variety of games. Staff, including Dan, was knowledgeable and able to tell us how to be better at games or just direct our next move. Pro tip - wear workout gear and pregame with lots of water and stretching. This place gets hard-core as you move up in levels which is a great thing. Really cool badge scan in process that you can use to return and gain more points later. Good discounts for loyal customers too. Bathrooms were clean and bright and water fountains were cold. They also give you a free locker to put your gear in you don't want to take with you. I do wish there were water fountains in the games area but you are allowed to leave and come back... it just takes more time. Games are excellent, and unlimited based on how much time you buy. Cool thing is the games have tons of mini games, and you can go coop or competitive if u are with a group. So much variety I think we only played one of the same one a few times and that was a choice cause we loved the laser one. Also asteroid was great. They were all really great. Max of 5 people frustrated me to stsrt eith but now seeing the games in the room, 5 is perfect maximum, even with 5 we ran into eachother running a couple times. Amazing workout, and we all agree we will be back... repeatedly. Really so much fun and you feel great afterward like ya spent an hour at the gym but... well... fun. Nice job guys!

My brother and sister in law love games and also physical activities and this is such a great activity for older kids and adults! There is a flat price for $75 minutes and there’s tons of different rooms and timed activities and very challenging. My family likes this location because it doesn’t get as busy so you don’t have to wait too long for each of the rooms, there are basketball games, color jumping, trivia, running, hiding, and the time flies quickly! You get warm, sweaty, and hot. There are lockers you can tap in and out and water fountains but you do get warm. They have locations all over the North America— the United States and I think Canada. You gain points/stars and when you reach a certain amount you get free items like a water bottle, keychain, basketball, shirt, etc. Parking is really easy out here.

This place is sooooooo much fun!!!! We have visited three times in two weeks and literally can't wait to go back and bring friends and my teenager! If you're not sure, you have to give it a chance, and you will be hooked!!! There is a huge variety of games for all different skill and energy levels. For heart pumping action with a full on legit workout there is the laser maze and twists on the floor is lava. For puzzlers or when you need a breather, there are word games, trivia, and a find the match game. My favorite game is words where you spell and hide in a very unique way. There are a series of rooms with a certain technology like basketball hoops, buttons all over the walls, and pressure sensitive floor, for example. Each room has several different games/ways to interact with those elements in a game that lasts 30 seconds to 3 minutes. Each time you win a round the difficulty increases up to level 10. Your personal progress is saved, so you can come back where you left off. It is crazy fun, well maintained, and there is passionate staff there to assist you. Wear pants or a knee sleeve if you want to take on the laser maze! One thing to note is that the light levels in corridor and some games are a little on the low side if you have very poor night vision, but I managed okay. Whether you want to have fun, get a workout in, challenge your mind, or all three, activate does not disappoint!!! Shout-out to Will, Blake, and Richard who were so much fun to chat with. We'll see you...
