Hello to anyone that reads this. I would like to first start off that my fiancé and myself decided to go to one of your restaurants today, particularly the one with the address of 2330 Prior Avenue Roseville, MN 55113. I must admit, from the beginning of our entering the lobby, truly truly, it was a start of a disaster. Now, I admit as well that we weren’t dressed up and down from head to toe in the latest fashion or wearing anything fancy like a suit and tie or a dress. We were normally dressed looking people with no obscenity to be detected or any red flags to be present, at least I believe to be a fact that is. Anyways, as soon as we walked in we stood in front of two greeters that ignored us for a few minutes, gave no eye contact, and then left to do who knows what. Only after they came back after a few minutes, did they agree to seat us. Unfortunately, my fiancé is sensitive to loud noises, and she was unable to remain sitting where we were, due to the noise of the people around us hacking, coughing, and even loud music being played. After being moved from where we were seating, we hoped our troubles would end there, but surely enough they got much worse. As we were seated next to the kitchen area, which was surprisingly quieter somehow, we waited probably 10-15 minutes for our waitress to come over to us to take our order, including drinks. After a put-down of explaining the menu to my fiancé, our waitress left and never returned until about an additional 15-20 minutes. We were then served our appetizer (half of it was burnt and the entire thing was cold) without any plates to eat the appetizer, and our drinks were then given to us at the same time. My fiancé's lemonade ended up being too bitter for her to drink, and we had to ask for plates and were starred at with like a look of confusion from our server because we didn’t want to both eat from the same serving dish the appetizer was on. Within about another 5 minutes did we receive our meal and we were finally given appetizer plates, but by then they were of no use. As for the food, my fiancé's lobster was cold, much smaller than anticipated, and rubbery. Her fries were limp and not crispy or hot. The salad also smelled of death and couldn’t possibly be eaten, let alone smelled. My meal was also not that impressive, as my potato was lukewarm and my coleslaw had a taste of some kind of cleaning chemical. The flounder was just okay. Oh, and I should have mentioned that we finally received our cheddar-bay biscuits after we had ‘finished’ our meal and honestly, it was yet another disappointment. My fiancé's was too salty and mine tasted of nothing and could’ve honestly passed as white toast, if you asked me. Altogether here, I just hope that this message reaches somebody that can get this restaurant back in shape, before it’s shut down, because I don’t ever want to return and I noticed the couple next to us were having many many troubles as well...Thank you for reading this, whoever this reaches, and may it be a sign for some things to change before it’s too late...as I literally spent nearly a half hour writing this and would rather be in bed...

My original review was written over 2 years ago when I lived in Downtown Minneapolis but would order RL from Amazon delivery and since I've moved to West St Paul and they partner with Door Dash which I do have a DoorDash pass, I've rediscovered ordering with them again, because I am homebound a lot and while I've ate a lot of other local Red Lobsters in the past, I haven't managed to make it to this one.
I've had problems with a few orders when it comes to delivery, when i just resumed ordering from RL a few months ago, ordering with them, being surprised that living in the past in Minneapolis and now West St Paul, it's the same location for delivery.
Problems are one thing, the reason why I have kept this review at 5 stars is that when there has been a problem, Red Lobster went out of their way to make it right.
To prevent some problems happening such as i like eating steak, potatoes and rice, the steak juices can make the potatoes and rice soggy being in the same container and I've also had problems where hot food has been put with cold food such as salads and pina colada sauce and sometimes between it being hot out the salad would wilt and the pina colada sauce would taste bad, as if an order is filled but not picked up right away and then also sits in a hot car but that had happened on also on less hot day.
I do call now everytime I place an order for delivery and request that foods that can become soggy when I order steak be packaged separately and that hot and cold foods are also NOT put in the same bag.
Leah and Macy who are familiar with me, as I do order a lot are absolutely wonderful, patient and kind and now my orders arrive perfectly and I'm so grateful for that.
That means a lot because even with a dash pass, RL is not though free delivery because of my location, included, so I still end up paying a delivery fee, unless RL has a promotion, ordering directly through RL's website versus DDs given those circumstances.
But it's worth it to me, someone who is homebound a lot, doesn't ever cook to spend a lot of my discretionary income and I get a few meals out of it, that the food is great and so is the attention and consideration by leah and macy when packaging it for delivery, makes how much I spend to get and have Red Lobster worth every penny.
While I haven't ate here for awhile, I've at at most Red Lobsters and had great experiences.
I ordered though on 4/30/19 an order for delivery through Amazon.
There was a lot of things wonky about the order and it was very dissappointing and frustrating.
But because I was craving what I originally ordered (i threw the old order out) , I decided to call the restaurant, spoke to a manager named Jordan, who put together my order perfectly, which is much appreciated.
I believe in having the expectation for delivery as I do for eat in, and I don't expect restaurants to be perfect, but it means a lot when they go out of their way, after something is royally messed up and I appreciated Jordan's kindness and effort to make...
Read moreSomething about this location bothers me. I have been to several locations a cross a few states, so I have some basis of comparison.
Upon entering, there is a tank with live lobster. This location seriously needs to clean the tank, plus there are generally only about four lobsters present. At the "wait to be seated" desk, no one is ever there. This was my third visit to this specific location, always the same. Wait several minutes before someone shows up. The table they sat me at was not very clean. I wiped crumbs off with my bare hand as I was sitting, the host did not notice, though I was being obvious.
I tried their new drink, which was very pretty and tasty: Snowglobe Sangria. It was the highlight of my visit. Normally I get two drinks and a dessert, but tonight I checked out pretty fast.
I had clam chowder and cheesy biscuits for starters. The chowder was thin but tasty. I would have expected oyster crackers, but got Saltines. Normally they give four or five biscuits, this time I got two.
For dinner I had the 'Admiral's Feast'
From menu: "Walt's Favorite Shrimp, bay scallops, clam strips and wild-caught flounder, all fried to a golden brown. Served with cocktail and tartar sauces and choice of two sides."
I used my clam chowder as one side and coleslaw for the other. The shrimp was tasty. The clam strips appeared to be the same exact items you get at any seafood drive thru. The flounder was perhaps the worst fish I ever tried. The scallops were tasty and good texture.
I didnt finish everything. Asked for my check. I set my card on the bill and waited. No one ever came by again. They had a gaming console on the booth like at Applebees (I never noticed one before at previous visits. Usually the server takes my card right away). I guess now you use the game console. The server never mentioned it. I finally got bored and played around with the console and found where I could self pay.
Overall, it balanced to a 2.75, but I rounded up to 3/5 since no other choices, and 2/5 was lower than I felt...
