I'm very disappointed with my experience at the Marshalls store today, November 27, at 1:19 PM. I spent over $200 and, while shopping with my two kids (ages 2 and 14), I politely asked the manager she looked kind of Chinese, I believe Maybe Asian Not sure That doesn’t matter, but I just wanted to put on the record that that’s who the manager was black hair and kind of short I asked her for a dollar's worth of quarters so they could enjoy the play rides in the mall hallway. Unfortunately, she refused my request. What I can’t figure out is what if I was spending money how would I’ve gotten my change back? It would’ve been quarters.
Her decision forced us to walk in the bitter cold to find a bank, which was both inconvenient and frustrating. I found her response unprofessional, especially during the holiday season. It felt very much like the Grinch of Marshalls.
I believe that a minor request like this should not be against store policy, and I feel that her actions reflect poorly on her leadership. I would appreciate it if someone from management could reach out to discuss this matter further. Until then, I feel compelled to leave this...
Read moreI am absolutely disgusted by the treatment I received at Marshall’s in Roseville on 2/7/25. I walked in five minutes before closing, just to do a simple return, and was immediately met with hostility, disrespect, and blatant racism from your STORE MANAGER, Julie. As we entered the store, she yelled at us to get our attention, making it clear that we were not welcome before we even stepped fully inside.
To make matters worse, after we exited, she continued walking customers of color to the door as if rushing them out. I wonder if this would the same treatment she would give to white customers. Her behavior was unprofessional, discriminatory, and completely unacceptable. No customer should ever be treated this way, let alone by someone in a leadership position.
If this is the kind of management your company allows, then you have a serious issue. I expect immediate action to be taken. I demand to know what steps are being taken to address this and ensure it doesn’t happen to anyone else. I will not let this go ignored.
Awaiting...
Read moreVery disappointed in this store. Being handicap and using a cane I need to use a cart, especially when wanting to purchase item in the back part of the store (parking lot entrance) There are never any carts at this entrance. I had in my one free hand all I could carry and asked the dressing room attendant to call for a cart. I continued to shop around that area another 15 minutes and still no carts. I spoke with the manager and she seemed less than concerned. While this may seem trivial to some, when it's difficult to walk distances and your unable to carry items it limits your ability to shop. I made a special stop at this store and am disappointed at their response and not trying to rectify the situation. I will now need to either go to another Marshall's out of my way...or go to TJ Max as they carry a lot of the same items at same price. Used to come to this store...
