In-N-Out Burger Review: Double-Double Animal Style (No Tomato) with Animal Style Fries and Pink Lemonade
In-N-Out Burger has long held a special place in the hearts of burger enthusiasts across the West Coast. Known for their simple, yet satisfying menu and fresh ingredients, they rarely disappoint. Recently, I decided to indulge in one of their iconic meals: the Double-Double Animal Style (hold the tomato), paired with Animal Style Fries, and a refreshing Pink Lemonade.
Double-Double Animal Style (No Tomato)
Starting with the Double-Double Animal Style, the burger did not fail to impress. The combination of two juicy beef patties grilled to perfection, layered with melted American cheese, and topped with a unique blend of mustard-grilled onions, pickles, and In-N-Out's secret spread, created a symphony of flavors in every bite. The absence of tomato did not detract from the experience; if anything, it highlighted the savory and tangy elements even more. The fresh lettuce added a crisp texture, while the toasted bun provided the perfect vessel to hold all the deliciousness together.
The Animal Style option really amplifies the flavor profile. The mustard seared into the patties gives a slight tang that complements the rich, creamy spread and the caramelized onions add a hint of sweetness. For those who enjoy a well-balanced, robust burger experience, the Double-Double Animal Style is a must-try.
Animal Style Fries
Moving on to the Animal Style Fries, these are far from your ordinary fries. They come generously topped with melted cheese, grilled onions, and that same secret spread found on the burgers. The result is a gooey, savory masterpiece that transforms the humble fry into a gourmet side dish. Each bite combines the crunch of the fries with the melted cheese and the sweet-savory notes of the onions and spread. It’s indulgent and satisfying, although it’s best enjoyed fresh as the fries can become a bit soggy if left to sit for too long.
Pink Lemonade
Finally, the Pink Lemonade is the ideal beverage to round off this meal. It’s both sweet and tangy, providing a refreshing contrast to the rich, savory components of the burger and fries. The lemonade’s crisp, cooling nature acts as a perfect palate cleanser, making each sip a delightful reprieve between bites.
Conclusion
Overall, In-N-Out's Double-Double Animal Style (no tomato), Animal Style Fries, and Pink Lemonade make for a truly satisfying meal. The combination of fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked patties, and innovative flavor profiles showcase why In-N-Out remains a beloved institution. Whether you're a longtime fan or a first-time visitor, this meal encapsulates the essence of what makes In-N-Out...
Read moreI was just here with my family and we unfortunately had to witness the absolute most racist discriminatory behavior from a white female and asian male employee towards a Mexican man . We were already dining in and eat out food when we see this man come in with his family and they seemed so happy they orders they payed they waited for their food when i noticed the Mexican man get up to get his food and he asks them for his shakes he ordered and they told him they will make them asap he went to take his family the food so they could get started and he went back to wait for the shakes. I kid you know this man had to ask for his 2 milkshakes like 7 times he asked this white female starts to question him as to why he want them, etc. he is calming explaining that he was charged for 3 milkshakes 2 strawberry and 1 napoleon when he only asked for the 2 strawberries ones but they only gave him the napoleon and none of the strawberries shakes and he would just like the get then because at this point he was already waiting for 30 min. The rude female employee continues to question almost as an interrogation. he finally hets his shakes after 30 min and goes back to ask them for a warm burger due to his amazing min wait for his shakes while the employees would just stares and ignore him but keep handing out orders/shakes as is if this man was not there waiting. i just wand to say this completely unbelievable two young people discriminating this latino man and humiliating him infront of so many people . i will definitely not be coming back to a place where employees treat their customers as such. Read moreSince developing a gluten and dairy allergy, I've given up on eating out. Recently in Roseville from out of town, I've been hearing from gluten free resource guides that In and Out is a great place to go because except for the buns, they're gluten free, and although it depends on location, some of their locations are very careful about cross contamination.
We needed somewhere quick to grab some food on a very busy day for us on our trip and stopped into this location. The cashier at the register was very knowledgable about their process for allergy and made me feel very comfortable. It was a very busy Saturday for them and this location gets a lot of people coming for lunch from the water park next door.
They took the time to carefully prepare my food and keep it separate from my husband's order. The hamburger in a lettuce wrap is called "protein style" and I asked for ketchup packets on the side.
The biggest thing I was excited about was that they had 7up available. You can NEVER find 7up anywhere, even most convenience stores don't carry it anymore.
Was very happy with my food and eager to report I didn't get any reaction. I thoroughly enjoyed my iced 7up as well. I'd give 10...
