Lolli & Pops — Restaurant in Roseville

I went into this store on 6/30/25 at around 2pm with my sisters and cousins just trying to enjoy our day after not seeing eachother for months. From the second that we had walked in, one employee started following us around as if we were going to steal something. She then continued to tell us in the most disrespectful voice, “Do NOT eat from the bins. if you want to try something you need to ask for a sample.” Now, I understand needing to let us know that we need to ask for a sample however, we didn’t even touch the bins and it did NOT need to be said the way that it was. A simple “Let me know if you need help!” would have sufficed. After that we were just upset and decided to leave due to the level of unnecessary disrespect. On our way out we overheard the two workers talking to eachother about us. “They’re leaving after what you said” said the other employee, then the one that told us to ask for a sample said “Oh I bet they are” in such a rude tone! This interaction was not needed at all!!! If you’re going to be rude to people just trying to enjoy their day and doing NOTHING wrong, DONT WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! We will...

So first I was very pleasantly surprised to see hey simple and old-fashioned candy store in the mall. I got this gut feeling that it was family owned so I decided I wanted to support them and buy a couple of small things even though I don’t really eat candy. They had a very neat variety of different candies from all over the world including some very hard to find old-fashioned ones. Now these young people they had working there were super nice, but they moved as slow as my grandmother! I was the third person in line and I waited almost 15 minutes to buy a few pieces of candy. That’s enough time to go from feeling happy to very frustrated. My transaction only took 30 seconds when I asked them to please hurry. I think the problem is that they need to have A worker in front of the refrigerated truffles so that people don’t wait till they get to the register to pick out a box full of...

Stopped in with my son and we helped by a young person named Paige who was a true gem - we chit-chatted about the truffles, macarons and about coffee! He was super helpful as he knew almost everything about all the items I asked about. The store prices are quite higher than other pastry shops but they have so many different items and again the services provided made it worth it for us! We got truffles, macarons (no boxes though 😔) gummy eyeballs, astronaut ice cream, dark chocolate w orange peels, white rabbits (which felt kind of hard but I haven't seen these candies in decades - so, I had to pick them up - wish me luck 🤞)...
