Honestly, if I could give this McDonald's ZERO stars I would. First of all, McDonald's is one of the places my husband and I secretly visit multiple times a week just for the strawberry shakes. Truly, it's one of our guilty pleasures. Not to mention, I worked at Mcdonalds in high school, so I love to show my support! But when my husband and I were having a late night sweet tooth for a strawberry shake around midnight, we quickly looked up multiple locations to see if any were open. This location was the only one that said they were open until 1am! So it was extremely frustrating when we drove out of our way to go hit this McDonald's to find no one was working the drive through, after sitting and waiting for someone to take our order we finally drive up to the second window where the employees were being loud, making jokes and laughing. We sat there for about 5 minutes without saying anything hoping that one of the employees would realize we were there and take our order. Unfortunately that didn't happen. My husband decided to grab their attention by saying "hello and is anyone going to take our order?" We were ignored. My husband finally knocked on the drive through window when finally a young gal came to the window and said they were closed. At this point it was 12:50am. My husband said to her that they close at 1am and she responded and said, not tonight we want to leave early and shut the window on us. So basically for the last hour that we were aware of, all employees didn't work, do their job and essentially shut down this location on their own free will. I know that if McDonald's says it's open until 1am then that's what it means. Very disappointing for two...
Read moreEmployees playing games ignoring customers. I arrived at 11:20pm on a Sunday evening. All of the lights are on and their posted hours say open til midnight and yet nobody answered the drive through. I sat there about 3 minutes, spoke up a couple of times. Then I pulled back and tried again and still no response. At this point there are 2 more cars behind me. Now it's been about 5 minutes and I decided to pull up to the window. When I got to the window, I could hear talking inside and what sounded like people cleaning. There was an employee walking down the cashiers line straight toward me at the drive up window and then she saw my car and quickly ducked back into the kitchen area. I thought maybe she didn't really see me so I honked and waited a moment. By this time, the other two cars pulled out and left which I would have too but I made the run out that night specifically to grab a Big Mac, fries and drink. I circled back around one more time so I could see through the windows and I could see at least one person in the kitchen cleaning. I drove past the drive though window and went to the next closest location which was took care of my order perfectly and wasn't playing games. Not the first poor experience I've had at the location but it is the last...
Read moreBeen here several times. Like most people I know, I only eat breakfast at McDonald's. I never order any of the plastic lunch and dinner unless I'm desperate once every several years. That being said, why haven't they made breakfast get served all day yet? I would be willing to bet my salary and left nut that it would be nothing but profitable for them. Surprisingly stupid not to....
Regardless, I've got there at or shortly after 11am and been served without issue. Today I happened to be 4 minutes late to breakfast because I got unlucky with the signals on my way. Genius behind the drive-through mic wouldn't let me order breakfast without even considering it. If I do ever bother to get breakfast at McDonald's again, I'm not bothering to coming back to this one for a while.
I don't even care about the food. It's the shear idiocy of the situation that bothers me. It's pretty asinine that you would turn away a customer that's not going to order anything else, especially when not enough time had passed to have cleaned up breakfast. Which I know is the case because the line was full in front of me of people ordering breakfast, and there was no...
