I am a driver for Door Dash and I received a order for the Roseville, Michigan store. The Door Dash app told me to go into the store for pick up. I went in to the store, following the CDC regulations with a mask and social distancing. I was rudely told that I must wait in the drive thru line. The line was backed up into Gratiot and there was no safe way to enter the line. I saw another employee outdoors and explained to her that I was with Door Dash and I was trying to pick up a customer's order. I explained that the information that her store provided that I was not to use the drive thru, but instead go to the store. She said there was nothing she could do and that I must wait in line for the order. I asked her how I was supposed to get into the line with the line backed up into a major road. She said she didn't know and walked back into the building. I then waited 20 minutes for the line to become short enough that I could back up and get into the line. during this time, the customer called me. She was wondering why her order was taking so long. I explained the situation and continued to wait in the line. By the time all was said and done, I was waiting for her food for approximately 40 minutes. In this delivery business, time is money, and your lack of concern impacts my customer service ratings and income opportunities. THE MANAGER "BREE" LITERALLY PULLED ANOTHER WORKER THERE IN FRONT OF THE FRIED RICE SO I COULD NOT SEE IT BECAUSE I ORDERED FRIED RICE AND JING MY "SERVER" TOLD ME ITD BE 5 MINUTES BUT FOR ME TO PULL TO THE WINDOW 3 SECONDS LATER AND ITS DONE... THEN WHEN I CALL LIVID, THE FIRST GIRL WHILE ANSWERING TOLD HER THAT SHE HAD THE PHONE AND TO JUST GO RUN.. THEN TOLD ME I COULDNT TALK TO THE MANAGER UNTIL I TOLD HER THE EXACT REASON AS TO WHY I NEEDED TO TALK TO THE MANAGER THATS THE RULE THERE... Read moreI have been patronizing Panda Express quite frequently. The food is really good and the employees are always courteous, however, online orders are never ready at the specified times. Be prepared for long wait times and double check your drive- thru and online orders.
I will not be patronizing this establishment anytime soon, maybe never, and also will no longer recommend Panda Express to my family and friends.
On 04/30/24, I ordered my food online at 3:53 p.m. and my order was supposed to be ready @ 04:11 p.m. I arrived to the restaurant around 4:41 pm (due to traffic) to pick up my order through the drive-in. They were unable to locate my order after I gave them my name. After dialoguing back and forth, they said they found my order and was preparing my order and I would have to allow them additional time and I needed to come into restaurant and wait.
At this point, I asked for a refund and was advised I would have to contact the corporate office for a refund. So I decided to wait and asked for them to bring the food to my car in the customer parking lot. After about 15 minutes my order was delivered to me.
This was an extremely frustrating experience and wasn’t the first time I experienced this.
I was there a week ago on 04/23/24 and my online order was supposed to be ready at 04:19 pm and it wasn’t so I had to come into the restaurant and wait an additional 20 minutes...
