This is my first public review ever, of any place. I finally feel compelled enough. I sat at this Starbucks yesterday from around 6:30-8:30pm, with a good view of the front. During this time, a guy sits down at a table, maybe in his early 20s. He sits patiently, looks at his phone, and looks up occasionally. But gradually, I begin to think, Is he waiting for his drink?! A few groups of 2-3 people come in, order, and leave. After at least 20 minutes he walks to the front counter, probably to remind them that he had an order. Again, he sits down where he had sat and waits another 10-ish minutes until his strawberry creme frap is called. Yes, this guy was black. (I realize my perception may have been off, but I'm almost certain it wasn't.)
Besides that, it was a standard Starbucks experience. I asked for a small coffee in a mug. The cashier looked over her shoulder at the mugs and began to say, or mumble, "I don't know whether ...", so I preemptively switched to a medium mug, and added, "If you don't have any small mugs left." She didn't check to make sure. I think Starbucks should standardize drinking from mugs,...
Read moreI'm a very consistent regular at 3 specific locations with this being one of them. Never once have I ever had bad food, a drink made wrong or bad service. Unfortunately, today broke that for me. My drink was great, however my service was not. I know starbucks holds themselves to a pretty high standard when it comes to customer service. As we got to the drive through speaker, we were greeted with "hi". Nothing after. We waited a minute before just saying our order. Then she responded with with "okay". One word answers. We both figured she must be new, but I still would expect a little more customer service. As we got to the window, she took my phone inside & closed the window then scanned it, waited a minute before she gave it back. Then my drink came up & she just handed it to us. Not a single word spoken while interacting with her at the window. I Then asked for a stopper & just got a blank stare. I asked again & she finally gave me one. The entire interaction from start to finish consisted of literally her saying ONLY TWO words the entire time. I know this is a training situation but I felt this needed to...
Read moreAlways my favorite Starbucks to go to in the morning after I run my morning errand. They have the sweetest workers who always have my drinking food ready. Quick, hot (or cold) And on time. Even when it's super busy I see those people working their butts off every time I'm in there like their life depends on it. And it's always nice to see workers who enjoy their jobs and always work really hard because I know that it's really hard to find good workers nowadays who actually put their all into their work, especially a job where they're not getting paid an actual salary. I sure hope the manager or the owner reads this and takes into consideration what my comment says and gives those workers a raise for what they do because the morning and lunch rush is nothing to joke about. I've worked in the food industry before and it is one of the craziest times you can ever imagine and people are some of the rudest you can ever even begin to explain and those people that work there keep their cool and still treat people...
