Okay I will try to be as fair and objective as possible, even though I am still mad about my experience at this place today. WARNING LONG REVIEW... First a quick background...This place is very special to me. 25 years ago this location gave me my first job. I worked here for years as a teen, then brought my children here multiple times in their childhood. I'm very familiar with the way that this operation is supposed to be run. Today, 08/04/2022 @ 7:30PM, I visited this store with my daughter and two 2-year old nephews. After checking in, we went to the counter to order food. The first thing I noticed was the astronomical prices for EVERYTHING. A large one topping pizza starting at $18.45 is ridiculous. Getting past the price of the food, the second thing I noticed was the associate at the counter was visibly irritated with my presence. I felt like I was bothering her by coming to spend my hard earned money at her place of employment. She wasn't directly rude, but I did not feel welcomed either. $76 is what I spent for one XL meatlover's pizza, 4 cups, and one 90 minute play card. After paying the bill, the associate gave me a blinking buzzing device and told me when it went off to go the pick-up window to get my food. My immediate thought was "there's nobody working that can bring my order to my table when ready?" Even though I felt like this experience was way overpriced and underwhelming from the beginning, I was still excited to see the kids play and taste the pizza (because I know it's good). The game room was clean and the games all worked well, no problems there. The kids seemed to be enjoying themselves. When the pizza was ready it tasted just as good as I remembered. The kids liked it as well. After eating we left our food and drinks on the table and went back to playing. As it started getting closer to closing, I went to cash in the kids tickets and ask the associate for a carry out tray to pack up the rest of the pizza so we could enjoy it later. As I head back to our table I find that our FOOD AND CUPS HAD BEEN THROWN AWAY! When I asked who discarded our food and drinks, the associate that was cleaning the gameroom says "oh it was only like 2 pieces left on that tray". At this point I was livid, after spending all that money to have my food thrown away. The kids didn't even get to sip their drinks once ($2.99 each). The crew was so eager to get out of there that they would throw away food that could possibly belong to one of the families still there playing. The one table left with food couldn't wait to be cleaned until all the customers were gone? The more mature lady who looked like the manager on duty was well aware of the situation and offered no recourse at all. Maybe she was waiting on me to complain further and demand some compensation for my lost food, but no I just left very upset. I am not a big complainer in the situation, but I will always share my experience online. Horrible experience, I will never be back to this location again, maybe never back to CEC as a franchise. Please don't bother responding with the cookie cutter comment to my review. I will be addressing my gripes directly with the corporate office.

They have in total 100 games. A little trampoline inside. Left area is a game section for toddlers and right game area is for big kids. Lots of good prices. They gave two month season pass for $80 USD and you can go play 100 games daily. Lots of free parking. Customer service is good. They have a whole birthday section for birthday celebration. Chuck E mouse mascot comes often outside and plays with kids, but he does not walk around the whole arcade and will stay in birthday area. Couple games were not working when I went. Had lots of fun. They have their own little restaurant inside and place to dine in. With seasonal pass you get 30% off on food and birthday parties. You will receive invisible stamp on hand when you enter. I like the selfi system though. You take selfi for entire family when you enter in the store and while leaving you show the selfi and are allowed to leave. This is more safe for kids so no kids leave with a stranger or no kid is lost. Public washroom available. Nice location. Ask me any question. Follow me and like.

My son had his birthday party here today! Autumn was our host!!!! She was wonderful! She made his day so special and was on top of any of our needs! She was extremely personable, friendly, and made the party so much fun!!! As soon as I got there she met with me and explained the whole party process. She was there when I needed her and my son said it was THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVER. I highly recommend having parties here and see if u can request Autumn for your personal host!! Also who ever was Chuck E did a fantastic job!!! So much energy and gave my son so much attention!!!!

I'm a local Google guide, I do NOT receive incentives for my reviews. They're strictly my own experiences.

Soooo I went here years ago and vowed I'd never go back, the hall road location as well. However last year we gave it another shot, we totally enjoyed ourselves. So much so that we bought 3 summer passes even though I only have 1 child it was nice we could bring her friends or just enjoy several days a week. The passes are completely worth it. Especially if u go often. We also ended up throwing her birthday party here. The package was pretty cheap actually comparing it to other parties we have thrown. We did spend a ton of extra money to get tons of extra tickets lol the lady at the counter said she had never seen someone with so many tickets she got like 3 items from the top shelf and a few from lower shelves. The staff is always friendly ish they're never negative and always helpful I imagine it's hard to smile all day everyday around screaming kids so I don't excuse that part lol I believe the front desk ladies name is Paige she's always there lol and very helpful. This location does not have the problem of wild children interrupting your time. Which years ago is why we stopped going. Also they recently did some renovating. My daughter loves flinging the people from the screen in the floor. Lol but my highest highlight of this review is that it's decently clean. I'm tad afraid of children and their sticky greasy fingers, my poor child has never fully lived because she can't be dirty lol the games and tables are not full of grease on cotton candy which I HIGHLY appreciate. Someone cleaning is doing a great job I mean great great job. Customers like me come because of a job well done like that ( maybe a raise is in order?) I recommend this location I just hope if more people come the standards will remain high. Because I appreciate them. Thanks Roseville location signed a mom who needs a break lol and a child who wants to walk (run😆😉) around and enjoy themselves.

Side note I'm not a huge fan of the new food ordering system. You have to pick your own pizza up from the windows and the pans are kinda hot esp when you order several larges. They used to be delivered to your table for you, I do like that they announce it now though. Because sometimes it would be delivered and you wouldn't realize it and it would be cold by the time u did. Maybe implementing that they still deliver them for you and announce it a few minutes before they do so you're at the table when they do and you can tip the "server" could make this an incentive...

The Manager Reggie is so amazing .. this will be the third time coming here while he was working .. he keeps the facility very clean and bathrooms immaculate.. he seems to treat his employ very well but most of all he treats the customers with the upmost respect and is very kind not only to the adults but the children … This is a manager you don’t want to loose unless your going to promote him to something bigger which if I was in charge he would be my right hand man .. my girlfriend and I brought our kids to play for her daughters birthday .. they have no family or friends here and we’re having a hard day .. the manager Surprised them with a personal visit at the table with Chuckie and gave us a complimentary birthday cake to make my friend and her daughter smile. .. he did not have to do that but you can tell he has a good heart and he wanted to do it .. I thanked him a million times and told him how I appreciate his kindness and how much that meant to my friend . That alone I will always remember and will keep me coming back to this facility !! Thank you Jamal , so many places have the worst customer service but you my friend are a needle in a haystack and we are thankful you were a part of our day today to make it...
