Parkway Pizza - Roseville — Restaurant in Roseville

Ordered wings and two salads. The website said they'd be done at 6:05pm. Got there at 6:10, waited until 7pm for the food.

I understand it was dinner rush, but I ordered ahead and it's a salad and a deep fried side. Anyone could put that together in 10 minutes.

There were staff conversating with each other and moving leisurely, kitchen staff didn't seem to be in much of a rush either while I sat and waited almost an hour for my food I ordered ahead.

I will say the manager on shift did give me my food for free, and a beer while I waited to attempt to make things right which was very nice.

But it was frustrating to see the lack of urgency on such an easy order with the customer waiting in the dining area for an hour when they ordered their food an hour ahead of time. ( ordered around 5, got there at 6,...

Why is it so hard to find a pizza place that can properly make your food the way your order? Every place I try has failed, including Parkway. I ordered three items, cheese bread, wings, and a pizza. The cheese bread and pizza were ok. The pizza was supposed to be half pepperoni, half sausage, and then onions and green pepper. The pizza I received had no pepperoni, no sausage, and no onions. It had green peppers and black olives. I have no idea how you get black olives from sausage, pepperoni and onions. Nothing was really great either. The food was ok. That's it. Just ok. So I review a lot of pizza places. I always like to seek out a pizza place I've never been to before. My first time at any pizza place I always order the plainest pizza I can (cheese). The reason for this is my belief that it doesn't matter what you put on pizza, if the base pizza isn't any good, the rest is just putting lipstick on a pig. Sorry to say this pizza was very bland. Reminded me of when you make homemade pizzas with the premade ingredients at the grocery store. Also I ordered garlic cheese bread and the kid brought me the pesto cheese bread (which still wasnt too bad). He also gave me a discount for realizing that he had brought me the wrong thing. Cute little place. But I wouldn't go back...
