
Visited this restaurant for a lunch date with my sister and absolutely fell in love. Food, drinks and service were BOMB. Decided to come back for my daughter’s 5th birthday. Myself, my mother, 4 children. Restaurant was fairly empty, seated fast, immediately put in drink orders, alcoholic beverage, and appetizers. Fast forward more people are coming in and getting their drink orders before my table, when i finally get mine except the alcohol I waited a few more mins to speak up before I politely asked my waitress about it to be met with a dry “ oh what did you order? “, asked for a manager, she came was polite, apologized and comped the alcohol ( which i did not request, i just simply wanted to let her know I’m being overlooked while the restaurant is still pretty much empty), she informed us there were only 3 servers so she couldn’t get us any better service than what she had, alright fine, but the waitress still NEVER checked in with us, refilled drinks or anything else you would assume the basics of waitressing are, As a previous waitress myself I know it can be overwhelming and frustrating which is why I still try to always help on my end while dining out, my children were well behaved except my autistic daughter who was overwhelmed with excitement due to the restaurants decor, I don’t know if her behavior was the cause of us not wanting to be helped/ interacted with but I’m sorry i can only help with my children to behave correctly in public while giving them public setting experience. My bill was still was OVER $300 ( NOT COMPLAINING ) including the automatic gratuity fee ( which i hate because Im forced to tip an amount even if the service isn’t worthy of that ), but nonetheless, I asked another waitress nearby who met me with a disgusted facial expression and attitude if they had to split the gratuity, to which her tone slightly changed. I still tipped my server an additional tip since finding out they had to split because I assumed she may be new and wanted to still give her some motivation at work. I cleaned off table so that all they had to do was trash anything and take the dishes to the back. Once our leftovers were bagged up, we paid and are now leaving. The manager and the other waitress with attitude were at the front desk, ignored my babies when they were telling them goodbye and see you later and gave my mom a nod when she spoke as well. I dont want to conclude this as a race issue but I did feel slighted. Or it was just out right ignorance because I spoke up. Didn’t appreciate the treatment on what was supposed to be an exciting day especially with a beautiful experience my previous visit. . I do want to publicly share this about the treatment we received. I haven’t patronized this location again because clearly my money isn’t appreciated but the food is still great, just hope no one else...
Read moreSunday I placed an order over the phone with Trevor. I order the Very Hungry Combo which consist of feeding 3-4 people. Spent well over $100.00. When I arrived at 6:30pm to pick up my order it was already a few upsets customers because supposedly you’re not able to dine in because they close at 8pm. Mind you this was on a Sunday and your website states it closes at 8pm. So instead you have to place an order to go if you want seafood. I received my food and when I got home I notice that half my order was incomplete. I was missing shrimp, corn, sausages, potatoes and broccoli. That’s half of meal that I spent a lot money on!! I tried calling this restaurant back several times to complain about my order but by the time I called back this restaurant was closed. I called this restaurant at 7:30 I called at 8 and again at 8:15 and then again at 8:30. If I could leave a voicemail I would have but there was no way of me leaving one. The voicemail was either not set up or it was full. It keep saying leave a code. Which I don’t have code. As you may know I was very furious so I figured if I called at 11:30 when this store open up to speak to a manager I could let them know what happen. Well I in fact I did call the manger said there was nothing he can do because it happened overnight and he didn’t work and I didn’t leave a voicemail so he couldn’t accommodate me and just said sorry. I started as to why I couldn’t leave one but still no effort in trying to fix the situation??? They’re cameras all over this place and you need to hold your workers accountable. I wouldn’t be calling back earlier in the day and complaining about my order had it been right the first time! So if you order take out check your bags before leaving to make sure EVERYTHING is in there! Or you’ll get scam and half your meal may not be in there. Very sad and very poor customer service! This place is not what it used to be! Do not bother calling and trying to discuss what happen because the manager will not help you and there is no voicemail to leave regarding what happened the night before. Waste of my time, energy , and my money. I will not be returning to this place. Also if you dine in don’t bother ordering drinks because their not strong and their already premade. Read moreUpdate: I will never visit this establishment again I ordered crawfish and shrimp they gave me all arms and scrap for crawfish when I called and spoke with the manager he didn't care. The man didn't even want to hear me he is a terrible manager. I don't want to complain I just want what I paid for and the manager is a shady character. It's all good though I didn't argue with the manager I let it be I will never go back. The photo that I attached doesn't do justice honestly because I had to hold my phone I literally had 2 handfuls of scrap. This place will go out of business if they keep doing business like this while also having a manager with no customer skills somebody get him off of there. I guess he feel like his kitchen never makes a mistake and people just want to complain but that's not the case and you are wrong for how you out here doing your customers.
I have been to this located quite a few times and it definitely satisfies the craving I have for a seafood boil. I usually order take out and grab some crawfish, mussels, or shrimp. Yesterday I felt like lobster tails unfortunately they were so salty I couldn't enjoy them. I have noticed that the seafood here is very very salty like I can do salty trust me but this place is overwhelming salty. I came home and tried to help it out with water and I have done this a few times. Yesterday was the first time however I couldn't eat it and that lobster wasn't cheap. There is no where else in the area that compares so Cajun Crab House read this comment and get it together that House Special was salty as hell even for me!
It would also be great if the staff at the counter knew the menu. I asked Zack if the lobster was by the pound or were they each. I usually buy my seafood by the pound and he informed me that it was by the pound so I was expecting at least 2 tails but I only received 1. I actually regretted tipping this gentleman after my food came up he let it sit in the hotbox when I was right there I had to go up to the register and ask. I seen when the manager brought it out.
