Went in today to look at some of the clearance and clothing they had. I had seen a skirt I liked on display, so I asked if there were more sizes, and I was met with "well yeah", and a blank look from the employee as if I was crazy for asking. I then had to reiterate that I would like to see if they had my size. It seemed as though me asking to see the item that was on display was the biggest inconvenience possible, and coming from a previous hot topic employee, it is so simple. I received no sort of question on if I would like to check online, shown any similar items, and was purely met with distain from the employees. Read moreI was 18! Now 31 .. When We had just closed our popular hot topic store for the night We were cleaning and have some of our lights on but not all of them!. A customer walks up to the doors. and my manager approaches them.
Manager: “We’re closed.”
Customer: “Well, the lights are on so you must be open.”
Manager: “That’s because we’re cleaning.”
Customer: “Well… you should have all the lights off and use your phones to see!”
