We had the pleasure today to stop in to have a cool drink and some great pizza. Walking around Roswell, there are a lot of choices. This was the first time I had been to the main area of Roswell. The walk through the streets is a reflection of old-time neighborhood shops and restaurants. Charlise's Pizza Tavern reflects this. A comfortable, welcoming place that is perfect for meeting friends, having drinks, and enjoying good food. There are several seating area choices to choose from. If you are looking to escape the outside, choose from bar seating to tables upstairs and down. If outside is your desire, there is a lot of outdoor table seating to watch the world stroll by. I ordered a delicious and refreshing sangria from the bar, and my friend chose to have a beer. I ordered a Picasso Pizza and added mushrooms and sausage. It was delicious. We took the advice of a long-time customer to order a pie vs. just having a slice. It was a great recommendation. My friend ordered the Olive Tapenade. Both items came out fresh and fast. Out of all the choices we had in the area, I am glad we stopped at Carlise's. Excuse the partial food pics. We were hungry, and it was so good. Taking pictures was a secondary thought. We will return again the next time I am...

My family and I used to love this place, especially for trivia on Wednesday nights. We liked the food and the atmosphere, until we had an encounter with the owner/manager who was extremely rude and unappreciative towards us. This place has been empty most nights until recently, and I feel as though the owner should not be treating paying customers badly, as they are not abundant. We attempted to use coupons that we won during trivia a previous week and we were told we could not use the coupons on a trivia night in conjunction with the wine promotion. This was never the case before, but I guess since the restaurant has become more popular the owner decided the customers who have been loyals each week were "taking advantage of him" in his words. He claimed he was "trying to run a business" and couldn't give two discounts on one check and felt the need to come and look down on us at our table because we asked the server to split checks differently in order to utilize both discounts. We came back another day to use the coupons that were denied on trivia night, and we have not been back since and NEVER will give this guy our money again. I give the place a few months then the next entrepreneur...

I had the Buffalo Chicken Pizza which was tasty but after waiting two hours for it I was pretty annoyed. Service was beyond abysmal. Our waiter I'm hoping was brand new because he couldn't answer a single question about the menu. He must have apologized 20 times during our time there. Pretty sure he forgot to put in our order because he came out and said there had been a mixup in the kitchen. The place was not crowded and there appeared to be enough staff so not sure what was going on. They had a bird lovers group outside on the patio but they were allowing these folks to walk inside with their birds. Gross, unsanitary and the parrot was obnoxiously loud. Took our waiter 30 minutes to come check on us after our food was delivered at which point we asked for our checks. Another 10 minutes go by and he is walking checks out for another table and sees us and goes "oh shoot I forgot to get your checks, be right back". GRRR... won't be going back most likely which is a shame because my...

Great atmosphere, fair pricing, ok pizza, mediocre service. My husband, two year old, and I were a bit disappointed by our experience here. We were asking questions that were fairly simple but our server didn't understand and he seemed frustrated when we pressed for answers about the cost of toppings. The pizza was alright, with a super thin crust which was a bit too crispy for our liking. The sauce and toppings were really good. We ate outside and our two year old liked playing in the grass by our table. We had to be really careful however since the restaurant is on the road. With all of the other restaurants along Canton street, it will probably be a while before we'd come back here. That being said, it seems like a great atmosphere for a group of adults to sit and enjoy pizza and beer. There was a table of men from a sporting event next to us and they seemed to be having a great time. It's worth checking out to decide for yourself.

Great pizza 🍕 and salads. The pies are generally thin crust, which I really like. They do a nice job crafting their pizzas. You can enjoy several fantastic house pies. The service is spot on. I have no complaints with it. Servers are quick to arrive and rather attentive. You can sit inside or out. The back deck area is great with ceiling fans and TV screens for game viewing. If you are in the Roswell area, Carlisle's is an excellent option for dates or families. My one recommendation would be to improve the list of beers 🍻. There are so many great local breweries. Arches Brewery and Reformation Brewery are two wonderful options. Please, get better beer options.
