Unfortunately I had a less than stellar app order experience with this location. I ordered a family meal, something I had never ordered from Cava before. It states it feeds 4-6. You pick a grain, a salad, up to three dips, up to three toppings, protein, and a dressing. It comes with pita bread as well. After ordering I received a phone call stating they were out of pita for this order due to pita shortages. Okay, I understand shortages, itâs a way of life these days. It would have been nice to have been offered something in its place since you are paying for items you wonât be receiving, but that was not the case, even when I asked. Fine, I proceeded; we had pita chips at home. When the food arrived however, I was surprised, and not pleasantly. The food was thrown into the bags (or maybe it was thrown around by the DoorDash driver who dropped it off). Items were stuck to the lids, leaking out, etc. I could not lay the blame on Cava, had no idea who caused the messy bag, but that wasnât the worst part. When I opened the container of toppings, remember this is three toppings, and is supposed to supply enough food for 4-6 people, and yes they were all together in one container, I was shocked. I chose marinated cucumbers for one. There were 5 tiny chunks. I counted. I also chose kalamata olives. It looked like one olive sliced made the box. Finally, I chose marinated coleslaw, maybe two tablespoons were inside. The toppings didnât even cover the bottom of the container. FOR 4 - 6 people.    Read more1 star for service Put in pick up order at 6pm for a 6:30 pick-up. When got there at 6:30 they were behind on pick-up orders and there was a long line. I got in line to see if my food would be made faster once getting to the counter. After 40 mins of waiting in line I got to the counter. By that time they had made 2 out of 3 of my app order bowls and the 2 workers refused to make the 3rd once I got to the counter since I had placed my orders through the app. They proceeded to serve people who had been waiting BEHIND me. They said I had to wait for one specific person to make my last bowl even though I was literally right there where/when my remaining bowl could have been made. I pointed to my ticket and said "I just waited 40 mins in line for my app order so can you make my last bowl?" I was told no, I had to wait. So about 3 other people who had waited in line BEHIND me got their orders before I did just because they hadn't put in a food order over an app or phone. Very rude staff tonight who do not think logically or care about customers. Otherwise they would have not made a customer wait 40 mins in line and then wait even longer while serving other people while she literally waited there at the food line watching her food ticket sit on the counter. The woman making the phone/app orders seemed slow down making the food as if to purposely further frustrate me. She made other orders before finishing mine. Finally she handed me food silently, with a smug expression. Not sure why she was so rude or why they could not think logically. Boo and thumbs down to that crew!    Read moreWe showed up at about 8 pm really looking forward to trying this place out since they have vegan options that look really good, only to find they were out of all sorts of things. They were out of brown rice, annoying but whatever I got the white rice. Then when choosing my mains they only had meat - were totally out of the roasted vegg and falafel! There was literally one table with people in the whole restaurant and they were supposed to be open for two more hours yet they didn't have anything to offer their meat-free customers.
I was very frustrated and started asking questions. They say it takes 25 minutes to prepare the veggies! The guy "in charge" had the most apathetic look on his face like he couldn't care less. The girl serving us asked him to start refilling the hot bar and he basically said no, so she began to bargain with him "maybe just a little bit?" which indicates he is hard to work with and has no intention of supporting his staff or the customer. They need new management at the very least. I was ready to walk out with nothing in hand, but they said they'd fry some falafel for us since it was quick and then they didn't charge us for anything.
The place could be really good if staffed properly. Seriously there was very little work ethic in the team, and least of all from the "manager". It felt like I was being refused service and had to beg for them to do their jobs. I have worked the line at Moe's, which is the same setup, and no one was this lazy. Just...
