Georgian Lakeside — Local services in Roswell

I heard so many great wonderful things about Georgian Lakeside. It was an easy decision for me to place my mother there. I am grateful for the dedicated staff that is there and their on-going care for my mom. She was a handful, but the staff continued to let me know she was a 'sweetheart'. I appreciated there support. Special thanks to Michael and his caring, sweet spirit. He truly looked over every detail of my mother coming on board there. Accolades to Amy and her faithful and honest support for mom. When there are difficulties, you want a direct, honest answer. Amy knows how to share what is best for your loved one and back it up with support. I would text Amy and she would respond very quickly each time. During COVID, it was difficult to see my mother. Just having the staff to be ready to help and oversee my mom's care immediately was comforting for me. Bottom line, it is never easy when choosing a place for your loved one, this was a no-brainer. My decision was the best for my mom. Thank you sweet staff for your care while my mom was there. It was a wonderful experience for our family. One of the initial impressions you receive at Georgian Lakeside is that the staff and the management are there to truly help you find and feel at home in their facility. My mother came to live at Georgian Lakeside n the middle of summer 2020. Not the best or easiest time to move someone to a new facility. However, Georgian Lakeside went out of their way to help facilitate a smooth move in as well as welcoming atmosphere. Anyone who is familiar with assisted living facilities knows that family access into the residents right now is limited due to Covid 19 precautions. But any concern I had was immediately laid to rest. The staff is compassionate , knowledgeable and immediately got to to know my mom rapidly. At 97 years old, she had some advanced care needs. They were all meet with professionallsm and skill. And during a periods of time where I was not able to be with her, I had full confidence that all her needs were being meet. Words can't express how thankful I am to have found The Georgian Lakeside. My mother lived out of state and suffered a few strokes. My brother could only do so much to help her, so we convinced her to come here to the Georgian Lakeside which is close to where I live. She loves her apartment and the staff! She even likes most of the food :)

After she moved in, she unfortunately suffered another stroke. She spent a month in the hospital and rehab before being given the all-clear to return to The Georgian Lakeside. While she was hospitalized, I went to her apartment several times to get stuff for her and the staff ALWAYS asked how she was doing. When she came home everyone greeted her and welcomed her back and told her how great she looked. The care and support is genuine from all levels of staff here at The Georgian Lakeside.
