First off look at their reviews. There all pattoned with lies from the local guides to build up their stars. So here is my experience. Pay attention to the 1, 2, 3 stars. Because they are telling you about a true experience!
I came by a few minutes before 10 p.m. on August 15th 2018. It was Wednesday evening. I was on my way to a gym nearby and I wanted to stop at the Chick-fil-A to get a Coke no ice. I ordered it through the drive through and then started driving to the gym and while I'm driving, I am tasting my soda and it tastes like a Diet Coke. I couldn't believe that they gave me the wrong drink and it was now after 10 p.m. I needed something to drink after my workout. I don't drink any type of diet sodas because it links not only to cancer but to Alzheimer's.
So I headed back to the Chick-fil-A I knew there were quite a couple of cars after I left so it was like 9 after 10p- I believe by the time I got back to the Chick-fil-A. I get there the cars are gone but there are still people at the window so I drive up to the window hoping to switch my soda out because I obviously paid for it and I just want the soda that I paid for. Do you know that these people stared at me looked everywhere else and then started to talk to themselves never addressng that I was outside and they knew I was out there. They knew I was there ten mins ago prior to me coming back- so why did they not think there might have been a problem with a customer they just served?actually there just minutes prior so they knew But none of them approached the window to address my concern. This is Chick-fil-A at its best. So I finally had to get out of my car and after several mins, someone then approaches me - manager Ansa, i believe it was and she's like I can't speak to you the security doors closes down. I'm like are you serious there were cars behind me the door didn't shut exactly @10 when you were still serving me prior or when u still had cars behind me to service. They don't shut until you manually shut them, and you can't open up the window to speak with me? And then I proceeded to argue with her that they had just given me the wrong drink I do not drink diet sodas. So please resolve the issue by simply just giving me the correct drink that I had paid for. But nobody in there who is employed by Chick-fil-A used their brain to think about obviously correcting the issue. common sense says that you have a customer that was just there prior who just wants to switch her drink because the wrong drink was given. But everyone is just scratching their heads trying to figure out how to resolve this issue.. Lol.. So I concluded that none of them obviously had a college degree. She then says I can't open up the side window I can go out to the front .. So I'm like Okay well out of the 10 minutes that we were arguing why did you not say that prior rather than to allow me to yell outside of a glass window. It could have been resolved 10 minutes ago. She finally comes out with my drink no ice. but pours ice in it anyway... What is the logic of coming out the front door with my drink vs. opening the window of the drive through.. Yeah.. I can definitely see why they have concerns about security.. Backwards! I will Never EVER EVER go back to that location again. Because Chick-fil-A portrays themselves to be friendly full of customer service full of concern always wanting to address the customer and this was a prime example that failed miserably.... miserably so thank you Chick-fil-A for not trying to escalate a situation that could have just been resolved very simply. Maybe if I was a white lady, the threat would have been less of and they would have no problem to kindly address her vs. the treatment...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn many years of eating at server al Chick Fil A this is the first time I will give this location a one star, not because of the food but the way my whole experience was today.
We arrived at 8:35pm and we decided to skipped the drive through and go dine in, as soon as I walked in with my 2 little girls, the girl on the counter gave us a look ughh ⦠we werenāt greeting with the warm āhow may we serve you today?ā She seem agitated and in a rush, she had her purse already roped around her ⦠so I assumed she was about to goā¦I started to tell her what I wanted and she kept saying is that it? And Iām trying as fast as a can to get her the order with my 2 indecisive little girls. But I get to where I want and I said ācan I have new maple bacon sandwich and make it a mealā? She is like yes.. plugs it in tell me how much I pay and go sit. Upon inspection if my receipt I see she plug my items for my order individually instead as a meal. (For my bacon maple sandwich meal)
Then a sweet blonde guy brought us our meal, and I inquire with him why the cashier might have done that. He says come with me Iāll refund ur money and make it a meal. That he believes meals are cheaper but he can check for me.
We go to the counter and I see the girl still working the line for drive thru with her purse just ready to go (never in years of coming to a chik fil a Iāve seen that)⦠so we get to the counter and the sweet guy was just about to make things right when here comes the lady that wants to leave again and ask the guy whatās happening ā¦he explains and she says Iāll handle it and she goes on to tell me that is the same price, that I wouldnāt be saving anything by making it a meal. Naive me Iām not a chick fil a know it all and said to her āoh Iāve always assume if u make it a meal itās cheaperā then in a condescending way she told me no she did it that way because is the same. It seems she knows all there is so I was not gonna go back and forth with a younger person.
At this point I bit my tongue, I went back pulled the app and saw that she stood incorrectly, itās cheaper when u make it a meal not by a lot, itās dollars ⦠but itās the principle, thereās no need to lie, or make excuses, I know she prob had an exhausting day and is ready to go, which from the other reviews it seems they are eager to shut and if u come late it might not be the level of service like in other chick fil a. I am exhausted too, Iām paying for the experience me and my kids will have everytime we come to chick fil a
But my husband and I work hard for a dollar, someone like Mr Truett would know how hard it is to earn money in a decent manner, I donāt want my dollar with some cents back keep it, itās the principle, itās the standard drop because Iām in a rush to go so Iām gonna make the clients from this franchise pay for it.
The blonde guy apologize after she left and try to refund my money but I told him not to worry about it that I would just leave a review by the door of the restaurant. (Which the feedback cards were out when I walk by the door so maybe here will have a more lasting impression)
Iām disappointed with the service better luck to all that come through this girls path when itās...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is not the first time, I've had a complaint about the management of this location. While I don't have an issue with any company employing younger workers, I do have an issue with bad management. In going through the drive through today during the lunch hour, they had a large staff outside working. As I was pulling up to give my order to an associate, I can only assume that a manager came up who was troubleshooting a technology issue, and decided to educate the employee taking my order about what to do if the tech issue came up again. For the record, training and learning are important, but to stop someone from taking orders, who's device was working fine, to tell them what they learned, is bad timing. When I was able to give my order, I said: "I want 2 large fries, I paused, I want 1 large Mac & Cheese, I paused, I want a large lemonade, I paused, and I want a large 12 count w/a coke". After paying, I was not told which car to follow, but kept moving due to the high volume of cars in the line. The line itself was in slow motion, with a car "parked" at the beginning of the line by the pickup window. But to the staffs credit, they were walking orders to cars behind the one at the front of the line. When I got my order, I did not have time to validate that it was correct and unfortunately drove off to get back to work. When I looked at what I was given, I was charged for 2 large fries, I only got one medium fry. I got the Mac & Cheese, and my nuggets along with 2 medium drinks. And again, I want to emphasize that I paused after each statement, only to end up with an incorrect order! Again, I don't care what type of employees a company hires, but I do care about unprofessional managers. This is the closest Chic-Fil-A to my home, and as someone who lives near it, I can tell you that over the years, it's gotten to the point that it is HIGHLY unpredictable. The fact that they can have a "small army" of people working the line, and still get peoples orders wrong... I don't know why I keep going back! Chic-Fil-A used to have a reputation as the best at fast food service. This location does NOT live up to that. Management needs to ensure that they are training people correctly and workers need to be focused on the job at hand rather than discussing training opportunities during...
