This is my first bad experience with chipotle and this location. I come to this location of ten and the service is always good, but today I had a real bad experience. As I wait in line to be help next the customer in front of me ordered 3 soft tacos, the employee making the order respond to the customer “the warmer is not warm yet for the soft tacos”. Another employee that was working with him told him to go and use the one in the back, as he walk back the the employee to him to hurry cause customer were waiting. He came back and proceeded to finish the customer order and the customer had to repeat himself a few times before his order was correct. It was my time to order and I ask for a bowl with rice, beans, and chicken. He gave me one scoop of rice, so I ask for a little more rice he addedthe beans and gave me half scoop of chicken, he didn't even put the spoon in the container all the way. I ask for a little more chicken so he added more the same amount as before and put the little red plastic thing that let the cashier know to charge me for double chicken. I get to the register and ask how much is a extra scoop of chicken and the nice lady said $3. I told her no, I would like to have my bowl remade with a single serving of chicken because I shouldn't have to pay for that extra half scoop when the two scoops he gave me really equal to one scoop cause they was both half serving. The cashier request someone that was in the back cutting up steak because she stated that she didn't know how to handle the situation. The gentleman comes up from and said “ what's going on” asking the cashier and not acknowledging me at all. She told him the situation and stated “ they are putting the right amount in each bowl” so I responded “ he did not but that's okay just remake me a bowl with a single serving “ he said “ okay that's fine but they are putting the right amount in” and then he ask another person on the line to remake my bowl. The other employee that was remaking my bowl that he was remakimg the bowl because I didn't have enough double meat so he remade it with two big scoops of chicken. The gentleman in the back notice it and said I don't think he wanted double meat and I respond no I didn't I just wanted my bowl remade with a single serving. The part that made me really upset is the person in the back then said” you need to tell them your order and what you want” so not only did he not acknowledge a customer when came to the front he downplayed my experience and told me the employee didn't make a mistake. So he ask another person to make it and he made it right. I'm upset for one because I'm writing a negative review about serving size of chicken. I'm not trying to get away with an extra 3 dollars worth of chicken. The customer service was not good today and the person in charge today didn't care about my experience. Instead of throwing away 2 bowls of food he could of came out and said” apologize for the inconvenience we will just charge you for a regular bowl, but instead I was going back in forth with I'm assuming the gentleman was the manager in front of other customers. As I was paying the same gentlemen messed up 2 other order after me. I don't know know if he was new or not and if he is I understand that, but the biggest takeaway about today experience is how the manager(I'm assuming he was the manager) handle...

First of all, I have to mention that I love Chipotle. In fact, my entire family are addicted to it. I'd say we visit 2-3 times per week which results in about $60-75 per week. I have to say without exaggeration that this might be the last visit to this restaurant. To be fair in being upset about this visit, there are 2 Chipotles closer to my house and I chose to drive here because food is more flavorful at this location. But things have gone downhill at this place.
When I walked into the restaurant I saw 3 employees on the floor and one on the grill. All 4 saw me, including the cook. One employee qas talking to a family about what sounded like a catering order (they were standing by the register). Another employee was cleaning tables and a third employee was in the line talking to the cook. I was the only person in line. I'd say I waited a good 3 minutes before the girl that was in the line took my order (she had seen me in line but she was conversing with the cook). When she finally took my order, it was hard for me to pick which meat was edible. It all looked like it had been sitting out for days! I decided on the chicken.
After she prepared my chicken bowl, she simply moved the bowl over closer to the register and turned around to go back to her conversation. So now I'm standing in front of the register, thinking the girl working on the catering order would ring me up: Nope! I must have stood there for close to 4 minutes before the other girl came back from cleaning the tables. I kindly asked if I could pay and she told me she wasn't in the register. That was it!! I told her I'd come back to pay after I ate my food because I was hungry and that I did not intend on leaving without paying; I told her I'd been waiting to pay for 4 minutes. She would not let me go to my table, instead she started yelling for the cashier to come and charge me. It's never been this bad at this Chipotle and I really hope they fix things. But as for me, I'm done with this place. As I post this review, I am supposed to bring home 3 more bowls for my wife and daughters. I guess I'll be stopping somewhere else...
Read moreI am so over these food companies taking advantage of customers and not giving us the portions we pay for. I use to LOVE chipotle literally ate there 3x a week more when I could. I know remember why I don’t go here anymore. You give us a bowl full of rice and a tiny portion of meat.
I come in and ask for chicken and this guy literally scraps up tiny crumbles of chicken nothing of substance and puts in in my bowl and the fact I had to ask for Fresh chicken and more is ridiculous!!! You are not charging me double meat when I didn’t even get any big pieces of chicken… move on further down the line and I get to the check out already frustrated with the fact I got dried crumbles of chicken . I ask for the kids meal and chips for my son and the lady looks at me and say we don’t have chips only fruit for kids even though that is part of there meal option and there are bags of chips behind her.
These companies don’t do proper training and do not have good management and leaders anymore. It’s called customer service. You say “oh, yes let me get you another bag and i can make the kids size for chips for your son.” Not we don’t have chips for kids anymore because I can see there’s 5 bags of chips behind you. The employees literally told me we can’t go into the bag and take chips out because we can’t sell the the rest of the bag.
You put gloves on just like you would to fill the bag up and you could probably make three kids chip bags with the amount of chips you put in the large bag.
corporate greed , poor management/ customer service training!!! chipotle you should train your employees better and do better. I will not return. So glad we went to Chick-fil-A and got top notch customer service with employees that actually understand how to provide good...
