After a long long wait (news broke over a year ago that they were opening at this location), this location finally opened in late June.
So far our experience shopping there has been great! It aligned with our prior shopping experiences at other Lidl locations: very friendly staff, bright store (lots of natural light!), clean and well organized store/shelves, affordable/competitive prices (for the most part), and lots of varieties to choose from.
As a new store/brand in the area, they have been sending out some coupons with aggressive discounts to attract new customers ($10 off $10, $10 off $20, $10 off $30, and $10 off $40). And they also have a reward program to get people more hooked on continuing to shop there.
It’s a very very competitive market as within a mile radius there are Kroger, Aldi, Sprouts, Wal-Mart, and some medium-ish foreign-focused/international supermarkets. So far Lidl seems to do pretty well (in terms of business volume) and I truly hope this trend will continue even after this initial aggressive...
Read moreHolcombe Bridge Roswell store. Make sure to review your receipt. I have never visited without being overcharged. They never apologize and the clerks and managers always seem to think you are to blame. When they err on special buys they do not give that price. They just say someone on the staff made a mistake in stocking. I've had to take back molded fruit. The special buy section is often disorderly. I've noticed on things like chips where the larger bag is more expensive than buying multiple smaller bags they just don't put the price on the larger bag. Months and there has never been a price on the larger bag. Like everyone else they are increasing their prices but the register is always updated before the prices in the aisles. A very unenjoyable...
Read moreI recently visited the Lidl store on Bell ferry in Woodstock and was very impressed with the store and the customer service. I was happy to go try the Lidl closer to my home located in Roswell. Unfortunately the store was not as impressive and they need to hire some more cashiers. Especially ones that want to be there and actually act like they’re happy to see customers coming in their store. The older lady was so rude to me I honestly felt like walking out and leaving my groceries unpaid and for her to deal with. The touchscreen on the register wasn’t working and she was so rude about it. I really wish the store on Hwy 92 in Woodstock would have opened as planned. Maybe they would have had nicer cashiers and better...
