I went here for a graduation dinner for my best friend and her family. Little Alley is a great steakhouse for parties and small groups. The entire restaurants was filled w/ groups on average 4- 6 ppl. Not an intimate setting but there are a few spots.
Food quality: 4.5 Food service: 5 Presentation: 4 Customer service: 5 (introduction, follow up, patience and truly giving good customer service.)
My best friend had the porterhouse, I got the meat malls recommended by our server, her mother got the filet mignon which I recommended for portion control but also tender meat, her brother got the bone in rib eye, and I don’t know what other dishes were ordered. Her drink was strong but she wasn’t wowed by it.
They were out of the red burgundy I wanted to try so had to go with a standard red wine. My fresh oysters were good, I ordered the somewhat crisp and non briny WA and the New England briny ones. Nothing special.
When my meat balls came, they were decent sized 1.25” perfectly cooked and moist but easy to cut or chew and savor. The Demi glacé was a bit heavy on flavor but perfect on the semi sweetness. The asparagus was not as crispy as I like but well seasoned. My friend was very happy with her porterhouse, ate half and took other half to go. It’d quite massive.
Her mother was happy with her filet mignon, the cut was juicy, soft and cooked to perfectly medium with a good amount of pink.
Her brother was not thrilled with his steak. He ordered medium WELL however he received medium RARE. However because they over seared it and didn’t broil it for longer than 5 mins the meat came chunks of red, he ate what was edible which was half. He loved his drink just wished he had said light ice.
When they came to follow up the second time after we finished dinner they asked if we enjoyed our meal. I mentioned the incorrect cooking of his steak which also lead to a waste of food. They later surprised us with complimentary dessert even though we were so full to make up for the lack of cooking.
Honestly we would’ve preferred they make it right by bring us a half portion of the steak he ordered. However this kind of customer service was appreciated! Their dessert menu has great choices to the bread pudding, molten mini lava cake, made in house ice cream, crème brûlée, AND fruit tart! Bravo on such a great customer service and...
Read moreI love eating a good steak but if I'm being honest, I don't eat steak all that often. For my birthday I wanted to try a good steak without having to travel too far, luckily @littlealleysteak has a location in downtown Roswell, my old stomping ground!!
Let's start with the obvious first... yes Little Alley can get pricey BUT they do have menu items that I'm sure are delicious and will help you stay under $100-$150, including some steaks around $45-$60 dollars.
I ordered a 45 day aged porter house special along with some mc&cheese and sweet potato, it was perfectly cooked and an amazing steak. My wife ordered chicken with some potatoes and green beans.
Their bread that is served out is fresh and delicious on its own but their honey butter of course makes it 10 tomes better. Pictured here is also their DUCK SPRING ROLLS... everything is so good 🤤
Did I expect the food to be good? Yes. What was a pleasant surprise was the level of service. Not only did we have a great waitress but the entire team helps without you even having to ask for anything. I noticed how precise they were with setting tables and making sure everything was lined up perfectly.
If you like steakhouses just do yourself a favor and visit Little Alley Steakhouse at least twice a year or more. Maybe for a special occasion? Some type of celebration? Maybe you just want a good steak! Whatever reason you need to stop by, do it and let me know what you think!! I'll be trying more steak places and Little Alley will be the bench mark. Be sure to schedule a reservation!!
Just one warning... Roswell parking still sucks. All these years later and they still have done NOTHING to make the situation better. So unless you're going during non peak hours, I suggest you plan ahead and either pay for parking or be ready to walk from a long distance. Alpharetta fixed the issue, why can't Roswell!? 🙄

Little Alley Steakhouse in Roswell isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a reminder of what genuine hospitality looks like when it’s done with heart, pride, and respect.
I came in solo, sat at the bar, and ordered what turned into a flawless meal: • The Ahi Tuna Tartare was bright, clean, and beautifully composed. • My 12oz New York Strip, done medium rare, was cooked exactly right—juicy, flavorful, and rested to perfection. • Garlic spinach on the side, understated and spot-on. • Paired it all with two glasses of Stags’ Leap Cab that made the whole thing sing.
But the real story was the atmosphere. The kind that doesn’t have to be loud to make an impact.
While sitting at the bar, I happened to overhear a quiet exchange between two employees behind it—one handling bar patrons, the other managing server drink orders. You could tell they had a rhythm. Some playful banter, a bit of venting, but also vulnerability. He mentioned that no matter how hard he tried, it never felt like enough. I just want to say this: I saw you. Your effort showed. You both were exceptional.
She balanced efficiency with warmth—handling a nonstop flow of server orders while still finding time to chat with locals seated near her. Making people feel welcome without ever missing a beat.
After the meal, I stepped out into a downpour and found an empty seat just outside. About ten minutes in, I watched a manager walk a takeout guest to their car under an umbrella. Quietly, respectfully—because that’s just how things are done here.
Little Alley isn’t trying to impress with flash. They impress with care. With professionalism. With grace. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why dining out used to be something special. And here, it still is.
I’ll be back. And I’ll be bringing people...
