We live less than a mile away and enjoy hanging out at Loyal to watch sports. Usually because there are always seats available at the bar when other bars are full and we like the food. WE WANT TO LIKE THIS PLACE. We have been here over a dozen times. But, the bar service is awful. To be fair, the Loyal bartenders aren't really bartenders. They are servers working the bar. We came in last night, sat at the bar, and for the most part were ignored. Every time we'd finish our drinks, the empty glass would sit there in front of us for 10-20 minutes as we waited for the barkeeps (there were 2) to acknowledge us. Several times, a bartender would come use the computer right in front of us, a foot way from our empty glasses, type on the computer, never look up and then walk away. Only one of the bartenders would make eye contact or serve us. The other ignored us completely until it was time to bring us a tab. It almost felt like we were being ignored intentionally to minimize their workload and make it through the shift. To the Loyal Tavern Management... hire some fun and engaging bartenders! Someone who's not scared to engage with people at the bar. Someone who learns customer's names, smiles and knows how to build a rapport with patrons. Someone who recognizes when a customer is almost through with their drink and might need another. If you are wondering why every bar on canton street is full on a Saturday Night except the Loyal Tavern, poor bar service may...

Too many times, people only leave negative reviews on here. I wanted to take the time to show some love to the folks at Loyal Tavern.

Hayden always takes great care of us from behind the bar. She's attentive and works hard and has a great attitude. She finds time to give that personal touch even when the bar is slammed. We love Hayden!

Alex (GM) has been phenomenal. I feel that there have been huge improvements in pretty much every area at Loyal since he has been there. The food, the atmosphere and employee morale have all been great under his management.

Larry (Manager) does a great job as well. He has his employees' backs and works hard. Great managers set the stage for great service and a great customer experience.

There are several other employees that I could single out, but I'm not always the best with names, but the staff is so good.

We always have a great experience when we go to Loyal. My friends and I LOVE that they have the NHL package and you pretty much won't miss any sports you're looking for on their many, high quality TVs.

The food is also great. Don't miss the BBQ Chicken Nachos, wings, Buffalo Shrimp and Wagyu Sliders. I can't think of any menu items that I've tried that I didn't like.

Keep up...

Not too bad of an establishment. Very sports-bar vibe of course, with all the TV's and bar food. I think downtown Roswell def needed a spot like this, to help add something different to the mix. It is much smaller inside, so if you come with a large group, I HIGHLY recommend coming earlier to snag a table because it fills up quick and the wait time could be long. I came with a group of 10 and within a couple hours, we were glad we came when we could because people were starting to seat themselves! (It was the first day of college football and now that NFL season has started, well you get the picture). Our server, Chandler was great! He handled himself and the crowd well. I had ordered the Tavern Burger, and unfortunately it kinda fell flat for me. Much smaller than I imagined and the American cheese slices on there made it almost taste "fake"? Not great, not bad.. it had potential but it wasn't my fav. There are other places around in the area that offer the same, if not, better drink selections and food menu for a less chaotic vibe. I didn't have a bad experience at LT, just not a...

I can't help but give high marks for the super chill sports bar venue. Amazing viewing options with all the screens and seating. Very comfortable! The food, however, is decent with a few bright spots. The BBQ nachos rock. Very tasty with either brisket or chicken. Their chicken 🐔 🪽 wings are just shy of being cooked well. Fry them a tad more, please. The hot sauce lacks depth of flavor. Meh. Surprisingly, the crab bite are a winner. I am not big on ordering this type of item at a bar, but my friend wanted them and they turned out to be very tasty. The burger 🍔 could be OK, if the bun quality was improved. As for the fries, again a more seconds in the frier and they would be crispy, not on the limp side. Beers 🍻 are always cold. I can only speak to our server, so take this with context. She was sort of friendly and on the spot when you asked her for something, but she was in no way proactive. I had to waive her down most times, as our glasses would remain empty otherwise, and they weren't even that busy. It is so easy to swing by and ask if your customers need anything.

Came out for Sunday night football primetime. Everything was fine; then 3rd quarter hits and waiter told me last call for drinks in the 3rd (said nowhere ever) we tried to order one more round and they said no. We finished watcheing the falcons/KC game and then as soon as it was over; they were turning off the TVs before game was over. We were still watching the game pretty ridiculous. Go somewhere else especially when the manager's not home. Normally don't care but damn turning off TV before games over is making a point... = You suck for football. Happy to respond to any management or employee comments.
