A group of us go here quite a bit. The service can be hit and miss, depending on who you get.
However the other week Zanna served us and she was splendid - so 5 stars for service.
The bartender with long blond hair is good too. Sorry, her name escapes me at the moment, but she's been there a long time.
Also a young lady with long brown hair and big earrings is a good server too.
Food? I had the gouda and bacon burger, which is uh-mazing! And the brussels sprouts with honey. That's a winner too.
Wings are good as well. Garlic parmesan is excellent. Roasted wings is the best way to get wings.
I do have some candid feed back for management:
What happened to the Silver Comet burger? Come on!
Where are the sweet potato fries?
What happened to steamed broccoli? You used to have the beautiful giant steamed broccoli florets and the are gone! Why?!
The only acceptable response "from owner" is that these items are coming back.
Also, the wings are getting expensive. They are more than $1 per wing now. It used to be you have cheap wings and make your margin on beer. I sort of feel like you are getting us both ways.
I still like the place, and it's a good place to meet friends. But we have started to branch out and try other places as a result. So Taco Mac gets us ~2x a month now instead of 4-5.
Finally, on service, here's an example of hit and miss:
Had a bartender a few weeks ago give me a $1 change on an $8.08 bill (was picking up wings - had a beer while waiting at the bar for the wings).
When I pointed out the error, and I did so diplomatically, the bartender was all pissy about it. I mean, it's my money, not hers. What's with the attitude?
Then, the bartender sort of rudely slapped .95 cents down (correct change was .92 cents). No apology. No acknowledgement of the mistake. Didn't even look at me in slapping down the change.
It's the entitled attitude about the mistake that really bothered me, rather than the mistake.
I left her the $1.95 as a tip anyway - fight back with kindness, so to speak.
I had intended to do that all along, even before the mistake, but that's not good service. You'll lose customers that way.
And tips are supposed to be earned for good service, not expected. That's the economic incentive of tips.
Yeah, I think it's terrible businesses push compensation of their employees onto customers - but that's the model we have and I...
Read moreWorst service I have ever had. Our waiter took forever to actually greet us and it all went downhill from there. He was rude from the start and didn't even give us his name (if he had I would include it). Sat down next to us to take our order and then didn't read it back to make sure it was correct just kinda stood up and walked off. Our food was delivered by the hostess not the waiter and low and behold my order was wrong. Put up the stupid red card to try to get his attention that we needed assistance and he made eye contact with me multiple times and walked past us before finally coming over. I told him I got the wrong flavor of wings and politely asked him for the thing I actually had ordered and he promptly told me I was wrong and they just probably weren't tossed in the amount of sauce I liked. I told him I had taken a bite before asking just to make sure and they were sweet and I had ordered mild. After grabbing the plate from me he came back with the same wings just tossed in some mild sauce. I could tell because the single bite I had taken from the one wing was still there. I wasn't going to complain again but my friends I was with asked to speak to the manager. He came over and was polite and offered to fix my order but at that point the last thing I wanted to do was chance having someone spit in my food. After the ever so rude waiter came back over he raised his voice at my friends and asked if there was something that he could've helped us with. The rest of the experience was awkward and unpleasant. Waiter had his friend deliver our checks and then when we placed payment in them he sulked over from the corner and snatched them out of our hands. He just looked and me and said "sorry" while rolling his eyes. Needless to say he got about a 4 dollar tip from our entire table which was generous if you ask me. I have never been afraid of a waiter before but tonight I was. I work in food service as well and understand that sometimes you have a bad day or a customer is just annoying you but if I would have EVER acted like that I would have gotten fired on the spot. Will not be returning to this location ever which is inconvenient because we typically eat here...
Read moreI held off from making a review for this place, but after two instances of cold food, and a more recent run in with an awful waiter something needs to be said. This place is going down hill at a rapid pace. My wings have never come out remotely warm in my past few visits and none of the cups are clean. They all have a weird smell, beer or non-alcoholic, when drinking. Plus a more recent note, my group was seated and had a waiter who decided to show up with a bad attitude. It started with him taking our orders from a seat next to us, and then getting an order wrong on one of our wings orders. He brought out some sweet and sour sauce coated wings instead of the medium sauce that had been originally ordered. We thought the flavor would be fine but after one bite it was too different from a regular medium sauce that we asked for it to be sent back. The waiter should some attitude saying that the wings were just under sauced. We requested to have a new order sent out since the order was completely wrong. He took the bad wings back to the kitchen, tossed them in the right sauce (with a wing that had already been bitten in them) and returned them to us expecting that to be okay to have wings coated in some weird concoction. We then sought help from the manager since the waiter seemed to be mad at us for him getting our order wrong. The manager took the order off the bill, but the kid came back and took our checks after another waiter had brought them to us. The wing order mess up wasn't the deal, a waiter should not be showing attitude to a customer no matter how upset the customer may be. There's no excuse for that at all. I hope, like other reviews have said, that corporate management will take over and get this place back up to standard. This location used to be good, but as of late, the food, service, and overall quality of the restaurant have been...
