The company as a whole makes great pizza, like it is great, and enjoy locations elsewhere but the staff are hit or miss and your pizza may or may not be good.
Around 6pm, Feb 17, I witnessed staff take melted cheese off a pizza that was about to go out to a customer that apparently was not suppose to have cheese… a girl peels it off like a claw machine and tosses into the trash, then they proceeds to cut the pizza, and they served it that way. If that person had a dairy allergy, dairy residue will be on that marinara pizza. That was lazy, lacking in responsibility to care for a quality item going out. Maybe not an allergy, but did they know that?
Our wait furthered out as call ahead/ online orders pile in front of us - we finally order and the clerk was working hard to keep up with demand and pulling weight of others lacking in time management. Teens trying I suppose, but concerning how many times you have to repeat and still get wrong by not remembering. To the point you try to alert them that’s wrong , kindly but so defensive. Gentle is even too much apparently .
A clerk at register was super offended at slightest correction or clarity requested to the point of ridiculous. Just asking a question was defensive or accusatory.
Management didn’t care to address or clarify knowing there were issues. Participated in what appeared to be making fun of customer, who was me, the customer. Order put in as takeout and told other clerk hey, we are dine in. Which we stated prior, and errors happens, not a biggie. But when she argued about other things and took offense, obviously a lack of maturity to handle normal conversation - then she breathed something at me, I turn back like really? So rude. My side of story wasn’t wanted as I’m being bad mouthed. My husband agreed it was the worst location.
Webs on lights over tables. Not as clean as other locations. My daughters $9.99 pasta was so slim, very little pasta. It was enough to cover first layer of bottom pan. We ordered this before at two other locations, never that small amount as portion. It’s like they ran out or low and it was a rip off.
Our prior visit was terrible too. We waited several months going back after our first visit. First visit our 12 year old was accused of lying about her age for getting a kid menu pizza. She’s 5’ 5” and tall for her age. The clerk questioned us and might as well have called us liars. Which we aren’t. I get it, a kid tall for her age can confuse. But you don’t have a ID for a 11 & 12 year old let alone a toddler. But she was clearly a young girl by her appearance. She was so hurt afterwards, asking “why did they think we were liars?” She didn’t want to go back. I thank the two clerks working on making pizzas who did stand up for us, against the cashier who was accusing falsely. Clerk rolled her eyes and still had doubt and reluctantly gave us kid menu price. Good help is hard to find. I hate being treated this way.
Same day, Even after poor treatment, my husband held doors for clerks and assisted w trash can stuck for clerk. He helped and offered a hand and kindness. But after today, and last visit, it will be our last at this location. Trust is lost.
What appeared to be a line manager knew there was an issue. She avoided even approaching me when she could have. I left it for her to decide if it was worth her time. Apparently not, she’d rather shhh the cashier clerk and scoff....
Read moreI had been to a Your Pie in Woodstock with a friend and loved it! When the one here opened back up I was eagerly waiting to try it again. I went opening week and I waited awhile, but that was to be expected- it was opening week! I went again today to give it another chance. When I arrived, there was one table occupied- a parent and young child had been there before me and there was no line. I walked up and ordered a sandwich and cheese sticks. After about 15-20mins an order was being delivered and I assumed it was me but it was a the table there before me. My food took at least 25 min. Now I don’t mind waiting, but they had at least 4-5 staff members there and they seemed very unmotivated. I specifically remember visiting the Woodstock location and everything moving fast and the place having a positive energy. I didn’t complain/mention the time, but the person bringing me my food apologized for the long wait time acknowledging it took awhile. In a place where there are windows so customers can see the cooking process, I think it’s more important for staff to appear energized/ not chit chat and work slowly. It didn’t help their cause that they had a lot of staff present and only 2 orders to full-fill.
They also gave me the wrong sandwich. I ordered a chicken caprese sandwich and they gave me chicken bacon ranch (but there was no bacon!) and my cheese sticks weren’t very cheesey at all. To make matters worse it was a to-go order so I couldn’t even get my sandwich switched for the right one because by then I was home. I am very disappointed and will not...
Read moreI used to love Your Pie (loving called My Pie in my family) because the model of being able to interact with the pizza makers to make "my pie" was cool and produced a pizza that was exactly what I wanted that day.
I went to the relaunch of the Roswell location and everything that made My Pie cool was changed. You now order at a kiosk or at the register. There is no longer the model of interacting with the pizza makers or refining the ingredients.
The result was that I got a pizza that technically had all the ingredients but completely wrong in the portions or distribution. I ordered "light spinach and double mushrooms" and got virtually no spinach (some pieces were no spinach and it looked like they tore 1 leaf into small pieces) and few mushrooms (less than I would have gotten from a delivery pizza).
The relaunch dining room configuration doesn't flow as well as the previous set up, has slightly fewer seating options.
Most disappointingly, the new model takes away the element that made My Pie cool--the ability to directly request what you want on your pizza and get to watch them make it. (You can still watch post order through the plexiglass but it is not set up for...
