Attached is the landscape design you receive for $1200. A scanned doodle on a piece of printing paper. Engaged in design services via a neighbors referral. Gentleman came out to our property on a Friday, told him what we needed, and he said it would take a week for a design. I call him beginning of following week to ask a few project questions and see about a definitive start date based on when his design would be completed. He became highly unprofessional and rude as he started laughing at me as I asked questions. He felt "pressured" even though I was fine with the one week design timeline. The start date also moved from mid to late October (at latest) to beginning of November. He said "we've gotten 10 new projects in so it'll probably be November, I don't know." Again very unprofessional and rude. If you can't handle some questions on a $30-40k landscaping project maybe find another line of work.

We also found out this designer overcharged us after speaking with the store manager. I'm not leaving a one-star review because they refunded our money for the doodle, but only after the design manager gaslighted my wife and asked questions like "why do you need this done soon?" My initial goal was to have something in place surrounding my pool equipment as the existing fence was no longer adequate after the equipment changes. I decided instead of a new fence, I wanted more of a garden feature. Pavers around 3 sides of the equipment with planter boxes & trellises. I came up with the design and researched various plants. This was ending up being more of an investment than initially planned so I wanted a professional to review my design and help me make any changes and source quality plants. I immediately contacted Pike Nursery on West Crossville Rd in Roswell and was delighted to get to work with Joy again. Joy validated most of my selections and made some recommendations & tweaks which I of course took. Adding the jasmine in the middle and suggesting a different planting pattern. I had a scaled mock-up in excel which we were able to use for review & planning. I’m hoping I can add before and after pictures to this review as I just finished planting and it’s GORGEOUS! Huge shout out to Joy and Josh toward the end ensuring everying came in on time. Getting to work with them was sincerely a pleasure and i can’t recommend them...

Joy did a wonderful job selecting shrubs and trees to enhance the beauty of our yard. She spent numerous hours going over everything with us, and helped ensure chosen plantings best suited our outdoor space. Joy not only oversaw the project, but was at our house making sure it was done correctly. Joy was available to answer any questions we had throughout the process, and was happy to share her expertise. In addition, when Joy saw we had extra stones in our front yard, she started carrying them to our backyard and began arranging them to help enhance our backyard space. This was not part of the contract, just something she thought would be nice. Suffice it to say, Joy is knowledgeable, a good listener, and understands her clients’ preferences and needs. She definitely has the artistic skills needed to create a beautiful landscape. It is apparent that she loves what she does and seeks to provide excellent service.
