It was for my birthday, I could have chosen anywhere to eat but, since I haven’t been to an Outback in a long time, this is where I picked! I’m from St. Louis, Mo. and all the outbacks near me have been closed. So, I picked Here to go out and eat. I want to say that while our server was very nice, he was a bit forgetful. My boyfriend and I ordered the same item but, he wanted his steak Medium and it came out Rare (chefs fault)! His side dish was the Mac n cheese and was never brought out to him. He had to ask half way through our meal when he realized he didn’t get it! It came out cold, now mind you they charge extra for that. The shrimp well, it was all you can eat is the only thing worth talking about! If you’re wanting to go somewhere for friendly service, then yes, this is fine! But if you’re wanting a Steakhouse to fix a great steak to order and the food you’re paying for,,, then try somewhere else! I’d hate to see this place close, so invest in a great Chef! It will make the difference you need! And your customers deserve! We also took a Chocolate Thunder From Down Under home, Nowhere near the same quality, brownie yuck and I had to use a magnifying glass to see the ice cream, whip cream and fudge! That was very disappointing...
So we ordered from here again tonight, we both went for the Alice Springs Chicken. Told boyfriend how good it was, talking it up and how you got the whole chicken breast and how us ladies would split one each getting a breast, how cheesy it was, just delicious. Well sad to say, NOT ANYMORE! Back then it started at $10 and some change, then $12,,, now $17 plus! What a joke I think we were RIPPED OFF! We only got half of a chicken breast hardly Any Cheese, or mushrooms! How can any decent company would allow sub-standard Quality Of food to go out their door is beyond me! No more ordering door dash, Uber eats or Grubhub or supporting local restaurants! Put a Fork in Us,,,,...
Read moreTHANK GOD WE SPOKE TO “K-E-L-L-Y THE SMUG OWNER” OR WE WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THE ROSWELL WAS WORTH GOING TO. 🤦🏽♀️
We have only been to the Gwinnett location. This time we needed to stay in the city so we called to get reservations.
Firstly, we called the day before & when they pick up the phone they say nothing. She was listening to our conversation until I asked , if we had called someone else’s personal cell. We set a reservation. Keep in mind they typically do “call ahead service “ which is another way of saying they only do walk ins. All money counts.
Secondly, Due to the incoherent behavior of the call before, we called again today to make sure the reservation was set. It was. Then called back again to assure accommodation for a special needs child with autism and elderly people in my party if 3 when the owner picks up and informs us that we’ve been misinformed regarding having a reservation. We then asked if she would accommodate us and she proceeded to say “ we are not allowed to” after informing us she was the owner. And when ask for her name, she smugly says “my name is right above the door when you come you can’t miss it K-E-L-L-Y etc..” yeah, keep in mind Gwinnett was will and able to accommodate holiday or not. So we know it was possible.
Note to K-e-l-l-y “the smug owner” , The location of your name displayed on YOUR restaurant was irrelevant after being fortunate enough to speak to you and get a glimpse of how you run your restaurant. A prelude to how our experience would have been under your leadership. We decided to pass.
Lastly- it’s clear the customer comes last here. Smugly refusing to accommodate anyone with a disability is...
Read moreI usually have dinner at Outback, but last night was the 2nd or 3rd time I ordered for pick-up at this location. Last night after I returned home with my dinner I made a peach margarita and opened my food. I had ordered the onion petals that were cold and had pieces of fried meat..yuck! Then I opened my Alice's Spring Chicken the fact that the portion was small was not the issue. The issue was I did not have the honey mustard dipping sauce. Anyone that orders a dish that has dipping sauce knows that the meal is not complete without the dipping sauce. Now, this is the straw that broke the camel's back. I called Outback after there was no answer at call ahead seating I called carry-out and asked for a manager. I think whoever answered the phone must have put his co-worker on the telephone. The person that came to the phone identified himself as a manager. I advised him of the issues and that the bread was cold. He advised me that for the last two years they give customers cold bread so they can go home and heat it so that it will be warm. He could not believe that there was something like meat in my onion petals and offered no comment about no honey mustard sauce. I told him I was going to come back for my sauce and bring the onion petals with the meat like item, but his attitude was so dry and funky I told him I was not going to return for my sauce. Based on his response to my complaints I felt like he was a fake manager because a true professional manager would have responded differently. I am a Rewards Diner and eat at Outback 4-6 times a month I know what the food is supposed to be. I will stay a rewards member, but I will not...
