We LOVE this place! We have several favorites! We’ve been going the last two years and consider it a top rate date dinner! The food has been consistently excellent and servers are friendly and helpful! We love lomo saltado with steak, onions and tomatoes-the food is prepared fresh on a grill and has a deep rich dark flavor. They let you switch out your sides and instead of their delicious thick potato fries we often get sweet potato fries or yucca and plantains—oh plantains how I love thee! The empanadas are crispy outside and doughy inside with flavorful succulent fillings. Papas reinas are amazing appetizers filled w ground beef, chopped egg, olive, raisins, covered in a layer of mashed potato and deep fried—does it sound weird? Very! But the flavor is incredible and the texture amazing. I always get the causa de Camaron, it’s a cold shrimp stack with mashed potato, red peppers, avocado and green sauce. Another thing that sounds unusual but is cool and creamy and delightful. We love the rotisserie chicken with green cilantro spicy sauce but they don’t serve it every day-check the website. The cocktails are incredible! Try the pisco sour. It’s made w an egg white so the whole top is a frothy sweet cap with a cinnamon sprinkle strip. One day a week they have low priced pisco sours and this place is FULL of ppl getting their fill! The other cocktail we love is the chilicano that’s sour and tart- perfectly blended. I love that we can taste the flavors of other lands so close to home without the airplane ride! And this is a fun place to take a date or friends because it’s out of the ordinary but a safe bet because everything is so delicious. We’ve never had anything that...

Been coming here for years but today’s experience was a total disappointment!!! Starting with the service, or lack of service I should say. Andrea was our server and was totally off. Didn’t care about what she was doing and very aloof. Had to ask for water 3 times and also every time we wanted a refill. Appetizers came out and she never even cleared our plates before the entrees arrived. Had to ask to please remove appetizer plates. Two of the hot entrees came out but my ceviche took over 10 minutes to come out. She wasn’t the least bit concerned that everyone was waiting while their food was getting cold. When my ceviche finally arrived, it was the wrong ceviche. My husband couldn’t finish his entrees so she brought 1 to go container and didn’t bother to ask anyone if they needed one. I did but had to wait until she came back around. My Mother could not eat her lomito Saltado because it was too salty. Thinking she may have been exaggerating I tried it and it was awful!! It had no taste and extremely salty. The pisco sours were not right either. My Mom didn’t finish hers because it didn’t taste good.

Don’t know what happened to this place but after the horrible service and not so good food today, not sure we’ll be coming back.

Hopefully management/owners will care about this review and properly train their staff on the basic 101’s of service. Also, people can add salt but can’t take it off. Stop adding so much salt to your food. Completely unnecessary...

I have been trying to make it over to this Peruvian restaurant for a while. As I believe there was Peruvian/Columbian restaurants closed near Marietta Square. Monday presented that time to. Initially, I thought they were closed as some restaurants can be on Mondays.

We made it there for lunch time. Not very busy, which I was happy about. We were greeted and had a great experience with the wait staff, attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable on the menu. To start, we had the Lomo Empanada. The appetizer came with one, but it was a good sized portion. Very well seasoned, topped with pickled onion was a great touch.

For the main course there was the Pollo Saltado and Aji De Gallina. The Pollo Saltado (pictured below, had grilled chicken, onions, tomatoes, and french fries. Like an elevated poutine with the teriyaki sauce/gravy. Flavor went well together, not over seasoned. I am not a big tomato/large onion guy. I was happy with my choice.

My wife really enjoyed the Aj De Gallina. Creamy, chicken and potatoes were the dominant componants. The spicy parmesan was not too noticeable.

Bonus, the sweet tea was really on point.

-Was is a place we would go again? yes. potentially check out their drinks as well. -Would I bring my children? They did have booths, which helps. They probably would stick with the appetizers. I am not sure, how loud it gets on some of their evenings.

Overall, It was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend, and look forward...

My sisters Angie, Lara , niece Simone and I went to Freakin Incan Restaurant last night. I am a huge fan! The friendly service, lovely atmosphere and exquisite flavors make this restaurant my new "go to". Attached are the 3 dishes we had from their website as their photos are better than mine, we had this starter Papa A La Huancaina -Sliced Russett Potatoes, Spicy Creamy Aji Sauce. Garnished with Egg and Olive. It was AMAZING! Like Devilled Egg Potatoes flavor the yellow sauce was light and fluffy, like whipped cream almost. My dish was the Causa De Camaron - Peruvian Yellow Chili &. Lime flavored Mashed Potatoes, Shrimp, Avocado, Red Peppers, Drizzled Aji Green Sauce was amazing. Tasted like a cold tropical buttery mashed potato sandwich with shrimp, avo and spicy / slightly sweet cilantro filling. Simone and Angie had Lomo Saltado - Stir Fried Filet Steak, Red Onions, Tomatoes, Cilantro and Aji Amarillo. Served with White Rice & Fries which tasted amazing and Lara says this is the best stew she has ever had! Seco De Res - Slow Cooked Cilantro Beef Stew served with Canary Beans and White Rice - I didn't try it but I will soon! Everyone must visit this restaurant! Highly recommend if you chase exotic spicy intoxicating delicious flavors! Thank you Chef from the Big T Moving sisters.
