If I could do zero stars I would. I used to love this place, and have been a great client here for years. I have recommend people to sell and buy here not ANYMORE. I run my own stores in the retail and sales industry and I know what it is like to have clients enter a store 10 mins before closing time but I would never treat my clients the way I was treated here a few days ago. After a long drive to this location we enter the store at 5:48, the two ladies working announced very loudly to us (since we were the only people in the store) âwe are closing in 10 mins!â I looked at her with a puzzled look and said âokay, thank-you. Where is the restroom I need to pee?.â She then said âactually we close in 2 mins, so the bathrooms are already locked.â Again with a puzzled look I said âokay, never mind.â I was walking around and found an outdoor patio set , two accent pillows, floral arrangement and vase I was going to purchase. As I was walking up to the front counter holding the pillows and the vase and about to tell them I was going to purchase the patio set and the large arrangement the lady working said âI have been standing up working all day, and we are actually past close , you can leave now. We are opened tomorrow.â I handed her all the things I was going to purchase and said âhere you go, I wonât be returning tomorrow. If I canât buy this now I wonât be buying this at all.â Again, I know what itâs like to run a business. I pride myself on good customer service to my clients and normally I donât expect the same level in return when I shop at other establishments but NEVER have I left a complaint. I have never been treated like this in ANY establishment and it has really bothered me. If you donât want clients in at 5:48 then lock your days at 5:48 not 6:00.    Read moreI had a terrible experience with Southern Consignments in Roswell today. I contacted them almost a month ago about a desk my mom wanted to sell, they told me to send description and pics to a cell phone number, which I did. They came back and told me what they would give me for it and to let them know date we would deliver. I did, and confirmed this morning. My movers got there with the desk and they denied ever knowing about it and only gave half of what they agreed on originally. Very upset and angry and their unprofessional behavior especially since this was an heirloom desk from my grandfather to my mom and she is very upset to have to part with to begin with. Will never do business with them again đ˘

When I called them to ask if they weâre interested in the desk I disclose the slight discoloration from the desk pad and the one drawer that closed 99% of the way and then I texted pictures and was told a price range that they would give after the item is sold and I confirmed with them twice the day that it would be delivered. When my mom showed up with the movers that we were paying by the hour to move her, they claimed they had no record or any idea of any of this conversation or that we would be there and it was not until my mom gave the woman my phone number that I have been corresponding her with that she found the text where I confirmed that we would be delivering it on that specific day. Nice location, tastefully set up, quality items at very fair prices. Two star rating given due to the overwhelming uncomfortable feeling that we were not welcome to casually look around at our leisure. Sales associate was around every corner constantly asking if "Ya'll need any help"?".
