I work in a very customer service business myself. As such, I really try not to go out of my way to escalate issues unnecessarily. With that said, just when I thought things could not get any worse at your store number 00004794, I had the most miserable experience at I can recall at any fast food restaurant.
I stopped by your restaurant at 1568 Holcomb Bridge road just before 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 27, 2018. I should have just walked right back out as things were in complete disarray, including a long line in the drive through, disgruntled guests in the lobby, the computer ordering system being down or not being used correctly (food was being called out using the paper receipts on the counter), and once, again, clearly not enough people working at this restaurant. After waiting in line, I ordered a Power Mediterranean Salad. After waiting for over 10 minutes in the lobby, I asked the Manager at the Resister Kenny to refund my money. He told me the salad was coming right up and he was not able to refund the money. After being held hostage in your restaurant for another 10 minutes, I received the salad. Please check your POS system and cameras. I was literally waiting for over 20 minutes and unable to leave without losing my money. One can not make this kind of stuff up! After I ordered, customers were literally being turned away because the restaurant was so backed up.
Once I got home to eat this salad, I realized there was no plastic cover on the salad. Please see the attached picture with this loose saran wrap. The salad was all lettuce and filled with water. I ended up throwing half of it out.
I really do not understand how you run a restaurant like this. I thought the Franchisee brought in Pepper, a new Manager, to turn this store around? She is clearly no longer there. I keep giving this place 4th and 5th chances because of the location and our family generally like Wendy's food. Even the sign outside of this restaurant is all rusted and looks like it is from the 1970's. Not sure if the service at this store will ever...
Read moreThis Wendy's is TERRIBLE. I'm honestly not sure how it is still open. There needs to be a complete restaffing of this location because the current staff really do not care to do their jobs.
Everytime I come to this Wendy's something is wrong. I've started driving to the Wendy's over at North Point despite being 10 minutes further because I don't trust the staff at this Wendy's. They constantly throw random burgers in the bag, or leave items out. It happens so often that I've come to think it is a sales tactic. "Forget" items and hope customers drive off not realizing until they get home. Workers save time and money. Same with burgers. Most times I ask for a junior bacon cheesebruger they throw in a regular value deluxe. I assume it is because that is the easiest and cheapest sandwich. I ALWAYS check my bag before I leave because i've been burned too many times.
I've come on 3 separate occasions and the location has just been closed with no other explanation but a sign on the drive-thru window saying they closed due to shor staffing. At 10 on a Saturday?? Workers are slow, don't care about what you ordered, and sometimes give an attitude when you ask them to fix the order.
I've been coming to this location for years and have come to the realization that it is going to stay terrible until it shuts down. Do yourself and favor and drive a little further out if you're really craving Wendy's. I live 2 minutes from this location and refuse to come here anymore. I'll take the extra 10 minutes to...
Read moreOh, where do I even begin with my Wendy's experience? As I stepped up to the counter I was greeted by a crew member who seemed to be lost in a world of his own. I asked for the Jr Cheeseburger Deluxe, and his reaction was as if I had just revealed a secret menu item that only existed in my dreams.
After some awkward moments of silence and bewildered expressions, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I pointed at the menu, desperately trying to lead him to the elusive burger section. And lo and behold, there it was, in all its Jr Deluxe glory! You'd think I had uncovered buried treasure!
But the adventure didn't end there. Oh no, it was just getting started. After the crew member finally caught a glimpse of what the Jr Cheeseburger Deluxe was, he turned back to me to take my order. The only problem? He had already forgotten what I had said just seconds ago!
I contemplated bringing a map next time, with clearly marked burger destinations and highlighted reminders for the forgetful crew. Maybe I should create a Wendy's quiz to ensure they know the menu like the back of their hand!
In the end, I did get my Jr Cheeseburger Deluxe, which was surprisingly delicious considering the wild journey it took to arrive on my tray. But please, Wendy's, give your crew some burger boot camp training so that they don't send customers on a rollercoaster of menu...
