Birrieria Jalisco 2 — Restaurant in Round Lake

Right when we walked in we waited close to 10 minutes to even be greeted and given menus. Everyone in my party ordered tacos estilo Jalisco with consomé. It took an hour for them to bring out the food and it was not busy at all... We were so close to leaving. The waitress didn’t bring the consomés we had all ordered so we had to remind her. The rice is as super dry and tasted “rancio” or old, The michelada had so much ice it tasted watered down and was not enjoyable. I never got the cup of water I asked for and the waitress did not check on our table to WHOLE time we were there. The music was so loud we couldn’t have a conversation without yelling and the speaker didn’t sound right which made things worse. When getting our check we asked to split it between 4 people but we were told we couldn’t do it so the waitress suggested we use two different cards which was understandable… She came back and told us that she accidentally charged less than the amount on the bill and kept asking if we wanted to use different cards to pay the remaining balance. She could’ve either cancelled the transaction or just charged those same cards with the remainder of the balance. The first time I ate here, I went in person with a friend. The Queso Birria tacos were wonderful, as well as the Consume. This time, I ordered for delivery. My delivery order took over an hour and a half and was cold upon arrival. I ordered the same thing however, I received regular tacos with very fatty meat and no Consume to dip them in. They were not fried or anything. I have been unfortunately left with a terrible stomach ache after only eating 1.5 tacos. I tossed the rest. The food was good a few months ago and I left a 5 star review. Somehow the food quality has gone to trash. My chicken enchiladas had giant strips of overcooked chicken that I couldn't cut thru, they had me waiting for 45 min for an order that they said would take 15 min to be ready, and then they forgot the consome with the birria tacos. I gave them another chance after that and they still forgot toe consome and the tacos were rather dry instead of being juicy like the used to be. Don't waste your money or time here cuz they will have you waiting forever for a small order and inevitably will mess it up one...
