DO NOT EAT HERE! i ate here and was served room temperature food. Hours after I had food poisoning. I have never had food poisoning in my life until this incident. I woke up vomiting and continued to do so for hours. The next morning i called this restaurant and advised them of this. Needless to say they referred me to some insurance company as if i were calling to file a lawsuit against them. I am not sure how often this happens here but the way the manager got me over to the insurance company. With as little conversation as possible was alarming. So the insurance company reached out to me and pretty much told me. That I had no real case because no one else got sick and i didn't go to the hospital. Then she gave me this song and dance about food born illnesses. Which i corrected her several times. I guess she didn't know. I am a culinary student with safety & sanitation certifications. Current health card holder,NAFSA and servsafe certified. The sad thing is this was my favorite restaurant. I have been dining here since i was 15 years of age. I guess its time to look for a new spot. In the end the insurance offered me COUPONS to eat here again. I laughed and declined. The nerve of this woman. She then began to insult me by saying it was something else that i ate that day. Too bad chili's was the only hand prepared food that i had eaten that entire day. Last but certainly not least i advised my intention was not to sue but for a apology for what i had went through. She informed me that i knew something was wrong with the food but i ate it anyway. So basically it was my fault. since i had informed her that the food was room temperature. I suppose that was to be implied. To end the conversation i let this women know. That all i wanted was a apology. She rendered the most rehearsed fake apology. That at this point Im perfectly fine with never eating here again and letting everyone that i work with know of my experience as we are this locations biggest client. SideNote: The health department was also contacted behind...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHaving just left what was supposed to be a nice Saturday night dinner I am soo very disappointed in this place. After being a regular at Chilis for so long I have to write a concerningly bad review. I found an acrylic nail in my drink. Yes you read that right. An ACRYLIC NAIL, FAKE NAIL, ETC. We were seated in the bar section in the corner booth around 7pm. Our server was patient and noticed I was almost done with my drink and brought out my second one. I ordered a Mango Sweet tea. Once we ordered our entrees, I finished my first drink and took a sip and stirred my second drink with my straw when I noticed something at the bottom. At first I couldn't believe it. I asked my boyfriend and brought it to the top of my drink and it was indeed a link pink chrome finish nail. I should've took a picture but it took everything in me not to puke right there. They brought us our food and we told the expo to take our food back showed him the nail and to get an manager. Again I was trying to not puke and wanted to just run out but both my boyfriend and I are previous restaurant managers so we knew we had to tell them so they could figure out how it got in there. The manager came out finally she was a female wearing a purple shirt I didn't catch her name and she looked shocked but also confused when we showed her the nail. Her answer "i don't know how that happened my drink runner is a boy, would you like something different?" In my professional and personal opinion there are a million different ways to handle this encounter. Especially on a busy Saturday night. We kindly told her to comp our appetizers that I was going to throw up and had lost my appetite. My worst fear for everyone who has made it through this far, is that they didn't investigate where the nail came from and how it got into my drink, it could have come from their ice bin, in which the ice is all contaminated. I don't think I will be coming back to this location or chilis for a while which is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered 2 meals & appetizer to go through the online ordering system 1 hour in advance, arrived on time to pick up my order... wasnāt ready. Waited for 15 additional minutes just to have items missing from my order. Finally made it home 45minutes later than usual to discover items were still missing from my smokehouse combo. The young lady that helped me claimed to be a manager (Tammy) and lied to me when I asked her was everything in the bag, including the chicken tenders, she stated yes but they werenāt. I had my wife call up to speak to a manager, surprise... it was Tammy that picked up the phone & stated she couldnāt find our receipt to replace our order. (Apparently they can not look up orders via confirmation numbers, phone number, email addresses or names because we provided all of that and she couldnāt find it).Placed us on hold and came back minutes later and stated the reason she couldnāt find the order is because the person that rung the ticket out closed it but she was the person that rung the ticket out soooooo idk what her lies were about. So she finally offered us a refund after we declined free food because they couldnāt get the 1st order right. Collects all information from our debit card and states she needs to send this to corporate to process refund... lol that was 1 month ago and still no refund. I will never eat at this chiliās again. MOST, not ALL of the people that work there, including Tammy are incompetent & lie to your face. We have had more than 1 bad experience at this establishment but this was the last straw. If I ever have a craving for chiliās again, I will drive the 20minutes away to the other one rather than eat at this location which is literally 5 minutes from my home. Terrible...
