General Manager, Hopefully you can read this review. I have been coming to this location numerous times. Every time I visit this location I like to visit the bar. Why? Because I have seen that the bar gets faster service with everything. I have never had a problem being serviced by the bartenders. However, this is the third time I have had the privilege in being served by the bartender named: Mae. This is the 3rd time I have had this bartender. Each of the first two times I have had her she has served me poorly. For both times I have been reluctant in writing such a review because I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. I can no longer leave it up to me to write such a review but here it goes. This afternoon I visited your restaurant. I sat at the bar as I usually do and Mae asked me what I would like to drink. As I wanted to let her know what I wanted she did not give me her attention but laughed and giggled with customers sitting at the bar to my right. I patiently waited as I requested a Big Daddy, lightly dressed and a small glass of limes. She proceeded to grab a mug and laughing and giggling with customers at the same time, and asked me if I wanted a Coors Light. I responded I wanted a Miller Light. Mae’s response: Well excuse me. I ignored her adolescence comment because I just wanted to move on from this childish comment. I drank my beer. After finishing my beer I placed it close the edge of the bar so she could see it and hopefully I can get another. She saw it, and walked right by it. Only to ask another customer sitting next to me if he wanted another. She proceeded to get his mug and finally looked towards me and ask me if I wanted another. I said yes. After 5 minutes I asked her I wanted 6 smoked garlic habanero wings, celery sticks and ranch. She then went to the register and repeated my order and I said yes. My food then comes out, everything I ordered but NO ranch. I ask the young woman who brought me food if she could bring me some ranch. She said yes. Mae, was sweeping the floor right in front of me and did not even ask me if all my food came out good. After a few minutes she asked me if they have brought me my ranch. I asked no. The young girl, after 5 minutes, brings me ranch. Mae comes out front the back and asks me if I have ranch but I couldn’t respond because she saw I finally have one. It is becoming tired some with this bartender. She shows lack of immaturity, no respect towards guests, doesn’t take her job seriously, plays too much rather than focusing on guests and does NOT listen to what I ask for. I do like coming to this restaurant but from this point forward, I will NOT sit at the bar if I see her working there. Please work on this bartender as her comments towards me is becoming very unprofessional. I do not want to file a direct complaint to Corporate and hope you can train this young...
Read moreDO NOT GET THE WINGS here if wings are your favorite food. I am a HUGE Hooters supporter and have visited many locations, in many states, over the years. It’s my favorite go to place for wings, beer and to watch the game with my family and friends at the King of Prussia, PA location. I’ve visited the Round Rock location 2 times since I moved to Texas recently. First, let me say that the staff and servers are great. Both times I came in they greeted me with a smile and the bar tender was awesome. The wings however were the worst Hooter’s wings I have ever had, BOTH times.
The first time I visited i drove an hour to come and I got the batter original Hooter wings. The batter was way too heavy, which made the wings too bulky and a hard crispy, nothing like the other locations I’ve visited over the years. They skimped on the sauce and didn’t shake them in the sauce thoroughly. So most of the wings barely had sauce in them. In short, they sucked and I only ate 2 and threw the rest away.
I decided to give this location another chance when my sisters came to town. We decided to go there to have drinks and I figured I’d try the naked wings this time with hopes that maybe it’d be different. I ordered half hot buffalo sauce and half Caribbean dry rub. They came out quick and they were NOT hot as if they had just came out the fryer. Again they threw some sauce on top of the 1 wings, so it was not evenly distributed and some pieces were completely sauce less.
The dry rub was shaken on top like salt and pepper on a few wings and it didn’t stick to the pieces, so I knew they weren’t freshly fried. I’ve owned a Philly cheesesteak and wing restaurant before I so I know that things wings should be seasoned and sauced right after they come out the fryer so the seasonings and sauces mix with the oil and coat the wings.
In short, they were under cooked, lacking sauce, seasoning and overall just sucked. They weren’t even crispy, at all on the outside. That’s how under cooked they were. I took note when I walked in that NO ONE at the bar had wings on the counter. That should have been my red flag because everyone knows that Hooters is known for their wings. Period.
So in short, if you are a buffalo wing person don’t get them here. You’ll be highly disappointed. We decided next time we will go to Buffalo Wild Wings because they have consist quality at all the locations I’ve been to when I travel.
I didn’t try any of the other food so I can’t rate that, which is why I gave them 3 stars. If they can get the wings right I’m sure it will boost their rating and sales. As a business owner to the business owner there, I suggest you track and try Hooters in other states, especially the ones on the east coast like PA or even FL where the first one was opened. They never...

I almost forgot to mention the bathrooms. I wrote this whole long review and had to come back to the top to include this. Look at the picture of the bathroom. Not clean as was the rest of the place. I tried snapping a few other pics without looking like a weirdo but they didn't come out very well.
Every question I asked the waitress resulted in her walking away, consulting with someone else, and coming back to answer the question. That happened at least 6 times.
When she tried to answer a question on her own, she'd turn her head toward the opposite direction like she was looking for someone and talk to us facing the other way. We couldn't understand a single word. She didn't know what beers were on tap, what was seasonal, or anything outside the scope of standing there and looking pretty. By the way their seasonal was Octoberfest.....this is mid December.
Our first drinks took over 10 min to come out. Thirty minutes after ordering our food, we're still waiting. If they were busy, I got it. Nope, it was 8p on a Sunday. The place was almost empty.
Second drinks came out 10 minutes after we ordered them. Waitress said she was waiting on the bartender, which there were two and less than 10 customers in the whole place.
The wife's wings came out, finally but not hot, maybe room temperature. Waitress said the cook is breading mine now.
We were frustrated, so we asked for a manager. She came out and listened to our every complaint. Then she oddly said as she turned and left, "Let me see if I can go get someone to help."
After a few confusing minutes, my wife and I were about to walk away. Then, the waitress came and told us the wings will be out in 3 minutes. Sure as she!t, they came and we're hot.
I asked the manager why is it that it takes over 30 min to get our food but it has to take her to get involved to produce results. Her answer, well Sunday nights is when we train our staff who needs training. Okay then! So, I asked Sunday evening is not the time to come to Hooters in Round Rock. She smiled it off with a laugh and said well if y'all don't need anything else I'll be leaving and walked off.
What I heard was, I don't want to talk to y'all anymore. And she left.
Got the bill, $100. That was not a 100 dollar meal or experience by any means. No compensation, no apology, just a couple excuses to deter responsibility.
Don't go to this Hooters until it's restructured from...
