I had the pleasure of visiting the new Firehouse Subs that just opened this week, and I was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walked in, the employees were incredibly nice and welcoming, making the whole experience feel warm and inviting. The ambiance stays true to Firehouse Subs’ traditional firehouse theme, which is both charming and nostalgic.
The sandwiches were a definite highlight. You could tell they were made with care—the presentation was perfect, and everything was put together so well. Most importantly, they tasted great! Every bite was flavorful, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out.
The only small hiccup was the absence of napkins in the bag, which was a bit inconvenient, but it’s a minor detail that didn’t take away from the overall experience. I’m sure it’s just an oversight that will improve as they settle in and perfect their service.
All in all, it was a fantastic visit, and I’ll definitely be coming back. For a brand-new location, they’re already doing so much right. Five stars from me—welcome to the neighborhood, Firehouse Subs!

Read moreMy first time trying Firehouse subs and unfortunately I’m not hooked. I ordered the Hook & Ladder via the app.
I opted the customized option after selecting the sandwich (they had me at the melted Monterey Jack cheese), but had I known by deleting the ham and simply adding jalapeños, editing to lite tomatoes, extra crispy toasted bun, and pickle spear would leave off the melted cheese. I assumed since deleting off the ham they would replace it with more turkey. Not the case.
My order was underwhelming with little meat and don’t understand why the standard melted cheese would be left off though the standard mayo and mustard was still applied as I did no edit on these. The melted cheese is the main staple of this sub. Very disappointing!
Be careful when customizing in the app. The way it’s printed may confuse the sandwich maker or maybe they just dropped the ball...
Read morePlaced order at 17:56. 4 orders pushed before mine, only one being an online order that was picked up. One guy ahead of me told me he'd been waiting 20 minutes for his order. Several minutes later he interrogated one of the 4 people behind the counter about his order and resumed waiting. He finally through his hands up in exasperation and walked out. I don't know what the hold-up was on his order. Mine finally pushed 21 minutes after I ordered. None of the orders that pushed ahead of mine were large. 1-2 sandwiches each. I'll not be back for several months while they figure out how to make fast food fast. This is not the first Firehouse I've been to, but it is by far the slowest.
Our two sandwiches were quite tasty when I got home with them, it just took far too long for...
