Update!! A few weeks back I got a call from someone higher up and she said they were going to put stricter checks in place to make sure this doesn’t happen anymore but here we are part of our food order missing again and no way to fix it unless I want to drive to the store myself which ruins the point of a delivery service!!! I am a disabled veteran with a child with disabilities and on the really bad days Tropical Smoothie is a nice treat. I however am so frustrated with the delivery service I am considering never ordering online again! Once again they have left off half my order in delivery and the store doesn’t answer and there’s nowhere in the app or on their store website to contact anyone easily to rectify problems when they happen with deliveries which is becoming more often with Tropical Smoothie! And I am just left with either no food that I ordered for my child with Autism as a pick me up and have to either let her down or reorder and pay for what I ordered twice! It is ridiculous! Food is good, quality control not always so with delivery orders. I have one multiple occasions gotten wrong items in my order or missing items. The store blames the driver, the driver blames the store, and no one does anything to rectify the situation and no way to modify the delivery tip!!! They also often don't answer...
Read moreI visited twice this week in the evening on Tuesday and Friday around 6:00 pm. I ordered on the app and not long after I arrived I noticed what looked like my order placed on the counter. I told the cashier I was picking up an order and my name. She didn't check the names on the orders waiting and said "Yes, we're working on that right now." I proceeded to wait another 10-15 minutes while watching people who ordered after I arrived get their food. She finally asked the cook about my order and it was the one that was ready when I asked about it. She did apologize for the wait and I could tell she realized her mistake. Make sure you have them check for your name if they don't or you'll end up waiting forever. The next time I visited, I ordered and paid for an extra salsa. The box was sealed when I went to check it, so I asked if there was an extra salsa in there. The cook said yes. I get home and there is only one and it's half full. The smoothie I ordered also had large chunks of fruit and ice and tasted like it didn't have coconut or white chocolate in it. The other times, smoothies and been very good, but this one sucked. Read moreI ordered a $16 and left a $2 tip, total $18 smoothie this morning. Showed up at this location at 7:12am to pick it up, as I usually do and the door was locked and lights off. I tried to call and no answer. I left a message, urgent! This ruined my day. I look forward to my smoothies in the morning especially when I'm having a particularly bad morning, it's the little things. This was very upsetting. I had to leave as it was a stop on my way to work. I called my husband in tears and he offered to go back up there and try to pick it up for me and when he arrived at 7:40am he came upon locked doors and no lights. He ended up goin to the Tropical Smoothie in Pflugerville and got me a smoothie to brighten up my day. I live in Round Rock but I think I'm gonna change my location to the Pflugerville location because they helped us out and made my day a little better. Thank you Pflugerville Tropical Smoothie.
