I unfortunately did not have a great experience at this establishment. My waitress was very rude, I had to waive her down to get her attention each time I needed something even though there were only 3 other tables in the whole restaurant at that time. I ordered the chicken ramen, which I have had and enjoyed at other Asian restaurants, however I took one bite and immediately decided I did not prefer the ramen here. I asked to send it back and to get the menu again so that I could order something else and she had an attitude about that saying "uhm did you even try it?" So I ordered sushi rolls and something else they had on the menu ( I cant think of the name) and enjoyed both of those items! Again, waiving the waitress down to get my check, she comes over and asks " would you like your ramen in a to-go container, because I'm charging you either way." This caught me off guard completely as I too work in the food industry and the level of customer service I was experiencing was poor!!!! I said " if I sent it back then I did not like the food ma'am, I'm not going to like it more at home, no I don't want the food to go, send the manager over." The manager comes over who was just as rude telling me "Japanese food is not for everyone and to ask my waitress for menu advice before ordering next time and that he would give me 20% off of the returned meal price." I wrote off "Japanese food is not for everyone"as him meaning it is an acquired food taste, and hoping he was not profiling. So I pay, and I leave a tip (YESS I STILL LEFT A TIP! because again, I too work in the food industry) that was the cost of the ramen that I returned, just to make it clear that it was the principle and not about money or wanting a hand out. At the top of the receipt I wrote, " even though your service is terrible, I am hoping that you can learn from this."

I would not return to this restaurant or recommend it to anyone based off the customer service alone, not by the taste of the food. And the customer service completely explains why there are ALWAYS plenty of empty tables when you enter this establishment at any give...

I will say that I like their variety of food and that the food is decent, and I was hoping to make this a regular spot, but their customer service is appalling. My group of four went in last night on a Sunday at 9:30, and they close at 10. I hate those rude people that waltz into a restaurant right before closing, but we had an event that ran late so decided we'd just eat quickly and go, and figured there would probably be other stragglers that would dine later than us anyways. Ultimately, while we'd never drop in somewhere 15 min before closing, we figured 30 minutes would be okay. We walk into a completely empty restaurant, and the chef welcomes us, but the two waitresses are staring at us in shock. One asks, "Take out or dining in?" I say dining in, and she says "Oh." As her face drops. She then says "Well, the kitchen is almost closed." Their faces and attitude make it clear they didn't want to serve us, so I awkwardly turn to my group and ask if we should go somewhere else. Then the waitress asks if we're going to order sushi in a reconciliatory way, as if maybe it won't be so bad depending on what we order from the menu, as if parts of the menu are not going to be offered? I don't know. So then I tell my group we should go somewhere else, and it's only at this point that the waitress walks over to a table and asks us to sit down. As we're walking out the door, she keeps insisting that we stay and sit down, trying to convince us with things like "Anywhere you go will be almost closed too", even after we're outside. Which we all felt was bizarre after she clearly let us know we weren't welcome. All of this while the three other employees in the restaurant (at least in the front) just stared at us. Right after we got into the car, a male employee walked over and unplugged the neon "open" sign. What I'd like to know is if it's company policy to shut down before closing (considering no employee saw any problem with this), and if so, maybe you should really just change your hours to close earlier. This would have been our third visit, but I don't see us...

Horrible experience, first time there. I asked for some Shrimp Tempura rolls, pretty standard, I don't like avocado so I asked if it could be made without avocado. I was informed, "We are pretty busy right now, (lunch time), you can take them out yourself if you want...". So I chose another dish, which laid out the ingredients and made no mention of avocado. 30 minutes go by and finally appetizer I was informed would take 10 minutes, "because we make them fresh". Mind you this is our lunch break along with everyone else from the large corporation across the street, and a business that should be well knowledged that badged personell from across the street come here for a nice quick lunch. A long pause between happens again while we wait for our entrees, and finally we get food. One at a time as we sporadically get served, about 15 minutes passes as I finally get my entree. It is full of avocado as well, which I specifically informed the waiter I would not eat. No mention on the menu, no oversight from the waiter.

At this point the whole ordeal is a failure and now 1.5 hours has passed, with no satisfaction. We proceed to ask for our checks over and over again, they can't seem to get the bills ready. I have a meeting I am now late for so I have to leave but the rest of my party stays behind to sort the payment. 15 more minutes go by with back and forth a while the waiter is trying to split the check, and at one point they are told "the system can't split the checks and we rarely perform that function anyway". Which is just absurd, there are so many parties that come through (as have some of our party in the past and gotten split checks). Frustrated, my cohorts ask for just the one bill together, which then turns into another ordeal. Twice they are handed the bill of another table. On the third time, finally they get the right bill, and they pay it. No discount for the trouble, no corporate discount, bare any apology of any sort.

Never going there again, and to think it was my suggestion. ...

We're very glad we decided to try this place. We hadn't gone here yet because I don't typically like eating what I call messy foods, like ramen, and my husband doesn't like seafood and has a very mild shrimp allergy, which is common in Japanese cuisine in general. This ramen was so delicious. We loved the white miso broth so much. It was flavorful and comforting. I liked how much bulgogi was on the bulgogi ramen. My husband really liked it and that was so nice to see since he usually can only eat some form of chicken on rice at Japanese places. I loved all the things on my veggie ramen. Everything is so nutritious. I've recently been on a mushroom kick because I read so many great things about their uses in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I'm not sure that these are the same exact mushrooms I read about, but the flavors all went together very well. Similar story with seaweed. The fiber found in the corn balances out any lack of fiber in the noodles and broth. As for ramen being a "messy food", I had just had Taiwanese style street dumplings last week and my favorite way to eat those is to dip the dumpling in the sauce, maybe add some ginger using the chopsticks, put the dumpling in the soup spoon, poke a hole with chopsticks, slurp the hot soup from the spoon, then slurp the dumpling from the spoon. So because of that, I found my favorite way of eating ramen now is to put the noodles onto the soup spoon and slurp from the soup spoon. I get to enjoy the broth and the noodles without picking up the bowl, which I just cannot allow myself to do, no matter that the etiquette says it's ok!

I went to this place for the second time today. My husband and I drove from Killeen to go to this place. No other plans, just drove almost an hour one way for some great ramen. It was the 15th of February, and this was our Valentine's day meal because we didn't want to fight the crowds on Valentine's day. The ramen does have amazing flavor, and I love the variety in of drinks they offer. We also shared a rainbow roll that was really delicious.....but.... there were some problems. 1)At the bottom of my bowl of ramen was a piece of plastic that looked like it was the cap to something. We told one of the waiters, and they did take the ramen off of our bill, so that made that right to a point. I would rather just have no trash in my ramen and pay for it. 2) After getting our order, nobody ever came by to check on our drinks. My glass went empty, and I was never offered a refill. My husband's drinks (beer and sake) also went empty, but he flagged someone down to get one more beer. 3) My husband and I ate the same things, except my husband added a spice bomb to his ramen. We were full from the ramen and didn't eat anything more that evening. My husband eats spicy stuff often with no problems, but he was up and running to the bathroom a lot last night. I can't help but think there may have been something off about the spice bomb. I have given this place 3 stars because the food really is delicious.... but the service and probably the cleanliness needs some additional help.

wanted to try the new 1000+ reviewed ramen shop behind our house that we never noticed immediately understood that it’s moved from dell hq surroundings, 1000+ reviews made sense, not sure how could that happen. but, still waiting to checkout 1000+ 4* reviews food( no sushi or bento, like in pictures) chicken wings with recommended seasoning (we asked), 4 pieces for three people, left one untouched chicken karooge or something (popcorn chicken) never ordering that thing ever in my life anywhere else(got mayo + ranch, homemade sauce 🤦‍♂️, thay had only one sauce) now the highlight of the dinner, 19$+ ramen, priced like tatsu-ya, toughest chicken we ever had, left after chewing for few minutes. noodles in cuppa ramen were better than this, and the soup, the only good thing about the entire food is, they were hot, not a big win for dine-in anywhere. ended the dinner with untouched ramen(three chicken pieces were chewed and spit out), one untouched chicken wing( we were hungry, so ate one each 🤷🏻‍♂️), oil fried chicken(oil is secondary ingredient) best part, when we asked for check, the person looked at our untouched bowls, asked if we want togo containers, and when we said no, walked away to get check as if this happens all the time 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ and my friend complained about smell(seems so many others had same concern)
