If I could give a negative rating, I would. My trip there this evening was horrific, has to be in top 5 worst experiences in my 43 years, service wise. We got there at 4:10pm and got seated quickly. We waited and waited, seeing servers around us but no one approached. After 20 minutes I went to the host stand and asked if we had a server. Someone came over a few minutes later and said we were sat in a section that doesn't have a server scheduled til 5pm. Ok, so whatever, I worked in restaraunts for 13 years (server, bar, cook, management) so I know things happen. The manager came over immediately and said an appetizer was on them for the long wait. I said not really necessary as the kids meals are already free, we would just like to order, kids starving. So the server comes back and we order, this is at 4:35. All we order is fried mozzarella, kids nuggets, kids corn dog and a grilled chicken sandwich...all fast and easy items. We get the fried mozzarella at 4:50, that's gone within a minute even though they were soggy and busted open. After looking at pics here from google reviews, I see ours were nothing like the pics. About twenty more minutes until we get our food, so it took 40-45 minutes from when we ordered, an hour from when we walked in, and they weren't busy. I saw other families that came after us already finished and on their way out before we even got our food. I was literally about to get up and leave to take the kids to some fast food place when our food finally came. My fries were cold and the corn dog didn't get eaten because it was raw. Just asked for a box for my sandwich and left after waiting awhile again for the server to come by. She never stopped to see how anything was after dropping the food. I could have cared a less that they comped an appetizer for us, would have much preferred that they made sure our order was taken care of promptly and that we had decent service after the initial mistake. This was my first and last time in this restaurant. Very disappointed. Service in general has gone way downhill since Covid started but this...
Read moreMy son decided to come to pluckers tonight for his birthday, he turned 9 today. He has always enjoyed pluckers since he was little. Me and my son have been members since 2019, my family included( mom and dad since 2009.) Tonight the front of the house manager( tommy- heavy set hispanic/mexican girl with glasses with a slick back pony tail) was very unprofessional with our concerns. We had ordered 5 Lemon pep wings(5 free wings on the app) with a side of mac, and a 10pc all flats with a side of loaded fries, including the app(fried pickles) and beers(2pints Miller and tall miller) ive ordered. Our sides came out cold. I've let our server know our sides were cold and he was willing to fix it. 10mins later the new sides came out.....still cold. So I brought the dish to the serving alley and told our server it was still cold. He told us it just came out, so I proceed to tell him to stick his finger in it to feel how it was still cold....he agreed and stuck his pinky in our dish and said it was cold and that he will let his manager aware of the situation. As soon as I sat down(1min later) the FOH manager came out and said it just came out the boiler, while holding the dish in the palm of her had. I asked if it just came out the boiler, how are you holding it?. Being in the industry, I know how hot plates get when coming out the boiler. So she proceed to argue with me and my sister in front of our kids. Trying to give us the same dish back, THE SAME DISH the server stuck his finger in(health code violation). We didn't get a sorry for how cold a dish came out or a solution on how to fix it, until she was done arguing with us. Instead she still wanna argue with us to try and prove she was right. we had to get a GM to fix her problem. We were having a great time, til this girl ruined it. ESPECIALLY ON MY SONS BIRTHDAY. The GM was great, and so was the server. But the girl needs to learn common customer service, especially if yall have this Front Of The House manager representing the pluckers title. I've enjoyed multiple locations. But tonight on my sons birthday, had to be...

Our visit to Plucker’s in Round Rock had some highs and lows. While the food was mostly great, several service mishaps and an unfortunate incident with dusting near our table left a sour taste.
Seating Confusion & Initial Service: When we arrived (a family of four), the hostess seemed unclear about seating us—we stood around awkwardly before being directed to a table with little guidance. Once seated, our server, Eduardo, was friendly and gave solid recommendations, which we appreciated.
Ranch & Cheese Frustration: One member of our party ordered a salad and requested 3x extra ranch and cheese. Despite repeating the request multiple times, Eduardo only brought a tiny portion of extra cheese and the standard ranch. It took three reminders to finally get what was asked for, which felt unnecessarily difficult for such a simple request.
Major Issue: Dusting Near Our Table The biggest problem came when we were finishing our meal. Two employees decided to dust the TVs right next to our table, sending particles into the air. As someone with severe asthma and allergies, this triggered an immediate reaction—I had to rush outside to breathe. Even now, I’m left with raspy breathing, lung pain, and fatigue from the exposure. It was incredibly inconsiderate, especially since they could have waited until we left.
Final Thoughts: The food itself was good, and Eduardo was helpful with recommendations. However, the lack of attention to a simple extra-ranch request and, more critically, the complete disregard for customer health and comfort with the dusting incident made this visit disappointing. Restaurants should be mindful of allergens and air quality, especially around diners.
Would I return? Maybe—but only if they improve their awareness of customer needs (and keep the dusting for...
