Whataburger — Restaurant in Round Rock

So the morning of 10/4/24 @1:40am I stopped in at this establishment for a quick burger and fries to go. First off as I waiting in line behind a vehicle at the window I observered the lady working this window hand the gentleman man in the car paying his soda as she went back to get the remaining of his order I see/hear him tell her as she comes back with his food that his soda flavor is incorrect that he has ask for a Coke Cola so she takes the drink she hands him and replaces it with I'd i hope was the correct soda flavor he paid for. I'm up next I pull up she ioens window tell he the total of my order and I pay her she then hands me my soda and yes I watched as she filled it to be sure it's the correct flavor, bingo she scored correct. Ok the guy infront of me was a common error all is good. So she finally brings my food back ask if I wanted ketchup with my order. Yes ma'am 2 please. So as I drive off as I'm sure many do I reach into bag to grab a Fry or three,no fries in bag so I park as the car behind me is pulling up to the window to pay I walk up as she is taking his money and I say ma'am no fries are in my bag and I have my bag with my burger and two ketchup she goes oh really no fries? No...So as she turns I see three guys one being the manager a bigger fella with hair net on and dressed like their managers do. She says he had no fries on the last order they all laugh and she goes and get the fries and brings them threw a door on side and hands them to me in a bag. Woo glad I felt for a fry or I'd had to drive back up there upset not that I live that far maybe a mile from this store. So I got back get into my vehicle and leave and I drive home open bag yuup it's fries great,But they are cold as heck.ok screw it I'm eating them and my burger so go to toss some pepper on my tomato on my burger yes thats right no bacon as what I had ordered was a #5. By this time I'm pissed but hungry and say heck with it. You would think for one burger and fries 5 total people people working and that's what i seen and one a manager could accomplish this massive feat and get orders correct. Normally Whataburger is phenomenal, but when we can't even get one of the easiest things to make..

We tried to order a simple chocolate shake and fries at 8:30pm in the right hand lane, and they told us to "merge into the left lane", with no cones or directions for the right lane to let us merge. So we, and four other cars around us, were left waiting for literally an HOUR.

Two passengers went inside to see what was going on, and we're able to get their food, but after they were questioned at the window from across the lanes, ONE staff came out to hand out a small order (I thought it was ours, second in line), but they had to walk all the way down to the order box to hand it to the right person... They never came out with the handheld card reader or anyone else's food. We ended up driving off, not wanting soggy fries made 45min ago and have been sitting for that long. I was able to see the "order status" board in the window box, and four orders were waiting to be handed out, but they refused to come outside at all, or block the lanes so they wouldn't have to..

Maybe they were understaffed, but if necessary, block off lanes, don't ignore...

Another bad review! Got to the drive through with only 5 cars in line at 11:30pm Saturday June 3. Waited for an ENTIRE HOUR in the drive thru line. The drive thru window had not opened for over 20 min and I decided to go inside to see what the issue was. Spoke with what I assume was a manager in a Gray shirt. I asked him what was going on. He asked what my order was, I gave it to him, he turned around and went to the kitchen and never said anything or came back to inform me of the delay. All of the employees look like zombies walking around with a drive thru like going around the WHOLE building. Customers inside were also upset waiting on the food, as well as another guy from the drive thru who got out of his car to see what the problem was. We were met with no answers and no urgency of at least my hour long wait. We left again with no food for the third time at this location. I will drive to Georgetown or 79 going forward for...
