I have to say, I’m a little disappointed with our breakfast at Bryan’s Luncheonette for a few reasons. I had really high hopes based on the reviews and the food pictures from previous reviews. On top of that, the place was very cute and had great vibes once we entered. The first thing that went wrong was very minor and is something I honestly just brushed off. I ordered a medium orange juice and my husband ordered a small. We both got the medium delivered to the table, but whatever, no big deal. Our waitress came over and seemed very nice. We placed our orders for the biscuits and gravy and the chipotle Benedict. My meal came out first and my husband’s came out a few minutes later. This is also something that was no big deal to me. My meal was good, but the eggs Benedict were very disappointing. The eggs were completely cooked through, no runny yolk whatsoever. But what really disappointed us is when our waitress came over while we were in the middle of our meal and slapped our bill on the table and said “thanks, have a great day.” She didn’t ask how our meal was, if we wanted anything else. Nothing. Now, my husband was a server in the past, and he would’ve gotten fired for that. I don’t know if they are short staffed and maybe their chef isn’t their usual. I did see a sign that they are looking for a weekend cook, so maybe this wasn’t their best. We might go back again, just because it’s a good halfway point for our sister in law, but otherwise, we...
Read moreMe and my husband go here all the time and we always tip there servers $25+ each since we love coming here and the atmosphere! The family that works here always remembers us when we eat here as well. Its not like we are strangers. WELL today I ordered grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, bacon, cheese and avocado on a round roll with fries and got told it was $21 dollars. $21 dollars for this is obsured!!?? Not to mind you this place is also all cash. They used to accept Venmo in the past. I went inside to the ATM before knowing what my bill was thinking “no way my sandwhich is going to cost more then $20” Then being told $21 was my total. The women wouldn’t even let a DOLLAR go when I handed her the $20 dollar bill. I asked if I can venmo the additional dollar since I have used it in the past and was told “no go use the atm” So not only did I have to get TWO atm charges and take $40 dollars out for a DOLLAR is awful. What a joke. The entire family is nice besides the mother- the older women there is VERY nasty. Shame on them and for losing a...
Read moreAmazing burgers and Reubens! Definitely check out the specials they've got going on. Bryan's is a bargain and this charming spot has never left me hungry after a meal. The interior is a little on the smaller side and seats fill up quickly but that just adds to the quaint, old-timey luncheonette vibe.
On one occasion out of many, my husband had an uncommon request for our takeout order and the sandwhich wasn't what was ordered at all. We gave them a quick call to see if our order got mixed up with another and I kid you not, their response was incredibly gracious I was honestly so surprised. They knew exactly what went wrong and offered to remake his order right away which we gladly accepted. My husband walked out of the door with a huge smile plastered on his face, his new sandwich in hand, and half of a GIANT German chocolate cake on the house.
Service is fast and upbeat even when you're getting take out. They treat you as if you've all been friends for years. I 100% recommend Bryan's Luncheonette for all things breakfast,...
