I love 5 Guys. I usually get the double cheese burger with bacon and the works, along with a shake. Rather disappointed they no longer have malt for the shakes, but the peanut butter flavor with chunks of Reese's cups are pretty good too!
Gotta have someone with me to share the fries though, they fill a small cardboard tray and then dump a ton more fries in the bag, way too much for me by myself, I walk out completely stuffed! I like the Cajun fries, they're not spicy hot, but have a nice flavor.
If your starving when you arrive, there's always a box of peanuts by the front door with small trays you can fill to overflowing if you choose. But, grab a spare tray for the shells, rather than tossing them on the floor, but again, it's your personal choice.
By the way, if you haven't been there before, their regular burgers and cheese burgers are actually double patties. If you want a single, ask for the small burger, it only has one patty. There's probably a dozen condiments you can choose from as well. I get them all!
There's no drive thru, but you can order online and it'll be ready when you get there! No complaints about this place what so ever, I even enjoy the classic rock they play. If your really hungry for a great burger, this is the...
Read moreThis review is for this location only! Sadly this is one of the worst 5 guys I've been to. First off, the first gentleman who tried to take my order was very hard to understand. While I work in a similar industry and am used to understanding lots of broken English or other languages in some cases, this poor man should not have been working the register. Next, the burgers. My son's burger was a junior cheeseburger plain. Supposed to be just meat and cheese. Somehow his bun had mustard and ketchup on the edges. Upon further inspection, there were lines of both mustard and ketchup that were clearly removed from his bun. Like why? Luckily I told him it was from the meat and he ate it. Now the cheese. The cheese on my burger or my son's was NOT melted. This is a first, I mean just wrapping the burger in the foil usually melts the cheese. Not sure what happened here. Lastly the fries. They were hot, but a few of them were clearly undercooked. It seemed like just a few in each of our bags, but again, another first for me at any 5 guys. Lastly, all the staff I encountered just didn't seem as customer-focused as other 5 guys I've been too. Not sure what's up here, but not a great...
Read moreI ask my kids where they want to eat every Friday night in the summer. They always choose Five Guys. I order online, I get my purse and out my shoes on and I drive 10 minutes there and I usually order a fountain drink and that’s when I watch that wonderful man load my bag with fries. He never disappoints. The staff is so good, they work like a well oiled machine. I ask for a double bag so the food stays hot and I race home to pass it all out. For the 4 minutes it takes my heathens to scarf it down it’s quiet. Then they have a contest on who has the better fry.
How is this food so good? I mean really. I’m a newly single mom and you are making it easy for us to create small things that we do together now. I know it’s just burgers and fries, but we didn’t eat out at all during the lockdowns. Sitting together and eating and making jokes is one of my favorite things to do with my kids… the meal is always five guys. You will always get a...
