I never submit one star reviews, but here we are. I visited McDonalds on 1900 West in Roy Utah today. I was craving a hot mocha. (They are absolutely delicious if you have not tried one.) I visited this location during my break from work, so I ordered two separate items, so I could bring a hot coffee back to my coworker. I pulled up to the drive thru menu and was asked what I would like to order today. I was verbally prepared with my order, so I had no hesitation with my order. When I finished the request, there was no response for 2 minutes. Another customers order was portrayed on the screen. So I then pulled up to the first window in the drive thru, and told the employee what happened. Then I had to repeat my short and simple request. When I got to the pick up window, I recieved my two drinks. (I requested a mocha and and a coffee with an add of vanilla syrup and an espresso shot.-Take note, I was charged for this request. When I received these drinks, I noticed that there was caramel in my mocha. Which I had specifically requested no caramel. Additionally, there was no espresso shot or vanilla syrup in my coffee. So of course I went back inside, and requested the employees to fix my order. The employee that first heard my request, said nothing in response. Which irritated me more. Finally, after waiting for 3 additional minutes, a separate employee arrived at the counter. Without an apology, she fixed my mocha. Then proceeded to state that there was nothing wrong with the coffee I ordered. I had already spent too much time trying to resolve my order at this location, so I did not pursue my problem at this location. I simply cannot repeat enough, how horrible this experience was. Your employees are simply disrespectful and obviosuly do not care about their jobs. I will not be returning. Furthermore, I suggest future customers take a second thought before spending their precious time and money at...

Read moreI've never had an 5 star experience at a McDonald's; after all, I only go to McD's because it's fast, cheap, and convenient (it's gonna be a 3 star at best). But this location is consistently poor.
Take for example my recent visit on Sun 1 Mar; my fiancé and I were in a hurry to get up to Nordic Valley to ski, so I let her talk me into a McBreakfast. After all, we had a 2 for one coupon from the Wasatch savings book. I ordered the 2 for $4 bacon Mcgriddle, and she ordered 2 sausage biscuits. At the drive up window, the kid who looked half asleep informed us that we needed the book (which doesn't actually have a coupon) not the punch card, to get the discount. That completely defeats the point of the punch card, but whatever. Not wanting to waste any more of my time, I begrudgingly paid the $12 for the 4 sandwiches (sausage apparently disqualifies the biscuit from the 2 for $4, an important point to note). After we got on the road my fiancé noticed that the biscuits that she received were in fact bacon, not sausage. So not only did we not get 2 for 1 on the biscuits, we paid almost $4 more than we should have based on what we received.
In summary: -This location doesn't honor a Wasatch savings card without a book. -Make good and sure the food you receive is exactly what you paid before you drive off; apparently they don't care about overcharging you 30% -You should probably go...
